Local Store Questions
I cannot find an item on the shelf, what should I do?
Ask to speak with the department manager or the duty manager, who will look up the information on his/her hand-held computer to locate the item in another store. If the item is found in another store, the department manager can have the item delivered to your preferred store location.
If I don't find the product in one store, is it available in another store?
The department manager or duty manager has the ability to check on the availability of product within the store's district. If the department manager or duty manager does not find the product within the district, they can call the buyer with the UPC # or the item # of that product and the buyer will indicate other Walmart stores that carry the item.
If I see a product in the store, is it available online at Walmart.ca?
Not necessarily. You can search Walmart.ca for the product in question, but please understand that availability, pricing and stock may vary between stores and our online shopping experience.
If you're interested in placing a special order for a product, speak with the department manager or an assistant. They will contact the buyer with the information and make the necessary arrangements.
If you experience a problem with a Walmart associate, ask for the duty manager. If you experience a problem with the manager (assistant manager, department manager) ask to speak with the store manager. If the problem is with the store manager, please contact the district manager. The district manager's name and number is posted at the courtesy desk.
Please note that Walmart cannot be responsible for damages to your property caused by carts.
The Mystery Shopper Program is a great way to get feedback on the customer service in our stores. It allows us to understand the Walmart shopping experience from the customer's perspective, and provides us with an opportunity to better our business. If you think you would like to become a Mystery Shopper, please visit Performalogics, and if interested, fill out an online application. Please remember to include what areas you are willing to shop in.
