The time between when you place your order on Walmart.ca and when you receive your items is broken up into two phases:

Processing is when we verify the details of your billing information and prepare your item for shipping in our warehouse. You can usually find an item's processing time when you click "See estimated arrival date" on the item page.

Shipping times can vary based on the shipping method you chose during your checkout process.

Orders may ship via a number of couriers based on size, service level selected and geographic location.

We offer three shipping methods for most items:

  • Standard Shipping: 3 to 7 business days, plus processing time
  • Express Shipping: 2 to 3 business days, plus processing time
  • Freight: 5 to 8 business days, plus processing time - Available only for oversize or heavy items

For remote locations, add 2-5 days to each shipping method.If you are not sure whether your location is remote, please contact us.

Please note: Shipping times do not include processing time (most in-stock items generally take 1-2 days to process).

Customers with an address containing a PO Box, Suburban Service, General Delivery, Rural Route or other designated route which cannot accept certain courier or freight deliveries, please restrict your orders to items that you can receive at your location or provide an alternative address.

Walmart Canada will not be liable for any delay that is due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, weather-related and other uncontrollable shipping delays.

How Shipping Costs Are Determined

We work hard every day to bring you the lowest possible shipping cost.

The shipping cost for most items is based on the item's size, weight, shipping method and delivery address.

We show an estimated shipping cost in your shopping cart, based on our lowest-price shipping method and assuming all items in your cart are going to a single address within Canada.

Certain items may qualify for 97c, free shipping or other special promotional shipping prices from time to time. Offers vary depending on where you live, the items you select and your preferred shipping method. Qualifying items and the associated offers will be identified on the order pages. Ensure that you have entered your postal code correctly to see the offers that are available to you. If you have more than one item in your cart, different shipping rates may apply.

To take advantage of this offer, be sure to select the special shipping rate option when checking out online. Many of these offers are valid for a limited time only. To receive the special shipping offer, the item must be purchased during the offer, and not just when item(s) are placed in your cart. We offer 97 cent shipping for movies, music and video games every day. Promotional rates apply for personal orders for delivery to residential addresses in Canada only. Offers are subject to change without notice.

Please note: You will see your actual shipping cost once you have entered your address and selected your shipping method during checkout.

Due to varying item availability and warehouse locations, your items may be shipped separately when you place an order containing multiple items.We will not charge you extra shipping fees for split shipments.
At this time, we can only accept orders from customers who can pay with credit cards issued by a Canadian bank, and are shipping to addresses in Canada.
For most orders, you can use the Track My Order feature after clicking on the order you want to track in the Order History to follow your package's progress.
Your order begins processing immediately after you click Place Order on the "Confirm and Submit" page. There is a limited time after you submit your order when it may be possible to change your shipping address, shipping method or payment method, but once the order moves into the shipping process, it cannot be modified.
To request a modification after you have submitted your order, please contact customer service with your order number for quick resolution.

Except as otherwise noted in the chart below, merchandise purchased from Walmart Canada may be returned as described below within 90 days of an in-store purchase or, for online purchases, within 90 days of the date you receive your merchandise:

In-Store Purchases


Bring the item you wish to return along with all original accessories, packaging and your receipt to a store.

Online Purchases

Returning an item to a store:

  1. Bring the item you wish to return along with all original accessories, packing material, and eCommerce receipt.
  2. If you do not have the eCommerce receipt, you will need to provide your name, email address, and/or order number, so the store can verify the order information with Customer Service.

Returning an item by mail:


Please contact Customer Service

Customer Service will initiate the return by creating a returns shipping label and emailing it to you.

You can then print out and affix the label to the box. Please pack your item carefully, along with all original packing materials, accessories, and the original eCommerce receipt.

Please note: Certain items will be eligible for a call tag, which means the carrier will come to your house to pick up the item.

If your item is eligible for a call tag pickup, it will be up to you to schedule a convenient pickup time with the carrier.

Once the item has been received back to Walmart, refunds will be issued to your original method of payment and will appear on your account within two billing cycles.

Walmart.ca can only accept orders from customers paying with credit cards issued by a Canadian bank.As well, we ship only to addresses in Canada.
