Track Your Order

What is the current status of my order?

Your order’s status will be emailed to you as soon as it changes. If you have an account, you can also see your current order status on the Order History page.  If you need more information, you can always call our Customer Service centre at 1-800-328-0402.

What steps does a normal order go through?

The time between when you place your order on walmart.ca and when you receive your purchase is broken up into two phases: processing and shipping.

Processing is when we verify the details of your billing information and prepare your item for shipping in our warehouse.

Shipping times can vary based on the shipping method you chose during your checkout process.

Your order begins processing immediately after you click “Place order”. There is a limited time after you submit your order when it may be possible to change your shipping address, shipping method or payment method, but once the order moves into the shipping process it cannot be changed.

To request a modification after you have submitted your order, please call Customer Service at 1-800-328-0402 with your order number for quick resolution.

Why did I only get part of my order?

Great question! Your purchases might come from different warehouse locations, and item availability might vary, so your items might be shipped separately when you place an order for multiple items. If this happens, we will not charge you extra shipping fees for split shipments.

You will receive an invoice with your order, which will tell you which items have been shipped separately. Also, you can check the Order History in your account to see if the rest of your order is on its way.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order

Can I add, remove, or substitute an item in my order?

Once an order is placed, the details of that order are final, including the items purchased. If there is another item that you would like to purchase, you can create a new order through the checkout process.

Can I change the location to where an order is shipped?

You can change the location to where your order is shipped, but only within 30 minutes after you place your order. To request a change, please call Customer Service at 1-800-328-0402 with your order number.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order, but only within 30 minutes after it has been placed.

To cancel an order, visit the Order Details page in My Account, and click the “Cancel order” button.

Once your order is cancelled, we’ll send you an email notification, and we’ll update your Order History to show the cancelled order.
