What can I ship to Canada Post?

Almost anything! As long as your purchase meets the sizing requirements:

•   It weighs less than 66 lbs
•   Does not exceed the maximum length of 78.7”

Don’t worry, we’ll figure out the weight and size for you. If your order meets these conditions, during checkout we’ll show you the Canada Post locations nearest to your address, and you can choose whichever is most convenient for you.

When will I know that my purchase is waiting to be picked up?

When you choose to ship your purchase to a Canada Post, we'll send you a few emails to keep you updated on the progress.

•   First, we'll send you a notification when your purchase has been processed and shipped.
•   Next, Canada Post will send you an email with tracking information and an estimated arrival date.
•   When it arrives, Canada Post will send you an email to let you know that it's ready for pickup.

How long will they hold my purchase?

The Post Office will keep your purchase for 15 calendar days. If you haven’t picked up your purchase within that time, it will be returned to the sender.

How do I pick up my order?

Great question! Canada Post has a handy page dedicated entirely to pick up information at their locations. Find out what I.D. you need to pick up your order, or what I.D. you need if you are picking up an order on behalf of someone else. Keep in mind, whatever I.D. you bring must match the billing address of the order.

Can I have someone else pick up my order?

You can indeed! But first, you must fill out a Letter of Authorization.

Can I send anything to a Grab & Go locker?

Not quite. Because it’s a locker, there are size restrictions. To fit in the locker, the item must:
• Weigh less than 66 lbs
• Not exceed the maximum height of 17”

Don’t worry, we’ll figure out the weight and size for you. Also, some of the items we sell come from a third party vendor and can’t be shipped to a Grab & Go locker. Again, we’ll figure this out for you before you reach the checkout.

As long as your order meets these conditions, during checkout we’ll show you the Grab & Go locker locations nearest to your address, and you can choose whichever is most convenient for you.

How do I pick up my order?

When your order is ready to be picked up, we’ll send you an email confirmation and a 6-digit code to access your designated Grab & Go locker. If you do not see an email with your PIN, in could be hiding in your junk mail folder (look for an email from “Walmart Canada Lockers”). Be sure to have this code handy when you go to pick up your order. When the code is entered at the locker, the compartment containing your parcel will open, and you can grab your order and go. Easy!

You will have seven days to pick up your order, and you will receive an email reminder each day. If you do not pick up your order after the seventh day, your order will be returned to Walmart.ca.

What if the locker won’t open?

Your locker should always open, but if it doesn’t, our Grab & Go lockers have direct phone support from our Customer Service Team and from dedicated Grab & Go locker customer service (Bybox).

Missed Deliveries

What do I do if I missed my delivery?

We understand that you have places to be and things to do, so if you missed your delivery, your purchase will go to either a nearby Canada Post location, or to a carrier retail center or depot. In this case, you will receive a notification telling you where and when you can pick up your purchase, or for some items you will be contacted to set a delivery appointment or to pick up the item at the confirmed location.

Can I ask the driver to leave a package at the door?

You cannot request the driver to leave your package at your door. Our standard service is to leave the item at your door, however some restrictions apply, such as geographic locations, or if you have made a delivery appointment for large items. Whether or not a package is left at your door is left to the discretion of driver. For example, if there’s bad weather (such as a snowstorm or thunderstorm), the driver might decide it’s best not to leave your package at your door where it could risk being damaged.
