"Wayne's World" - Based on the "Saturday Night Live" sketch of the same name, "Wayne's World" is a wacky, irreverent pop-culture comedy about the adventur es of two a miably aimless metal-head friends, Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Ca rvey). From Wayne's basement, the pair broadcast a talk-show called "Wayne's World" on local public access television. The show comes to the att ention of a sleazy network executive (Rob Lowe) who wants to produce a big-budget version of "Wayne's World" and he also wants Wayne's girlfriend, a rock singer named Cassandra (Tia Carrere). "Coneheads"- The Coneheads were a sketch on the "Saturday Night Live' television show of the late '70s which were expanded to feature-length proportions with this film. The story concerns Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and Prymaat (Jane Curtin), who leave the planet Remulak to prepare for an invasion of Planet Earth. But due to a malfunction, they find themselves plunged into the Hudson River and forced to take up residence in Paramus, New Jersey where Beldar gets work as an appliance salesman and makes a deal for a phony social security card. "The Ladies Man"- Yet another recurring character from "Saturday Night Live" makes the jump to the big screen in this comedy. Leon Phelps (Tim Meadows) is the host of a radio call-in show in which he dispenses advice on the fine art of seduction, for which he seems to have quite a talent rather surprising, seeing that he's usually broke, nearly everything he says sounds crass and obvious, and he possesses a fas hion sense that would have been ga uche in the mid-1970s but seems just plain freakish today. After finally going too far during a broadcast, Leon is fired, but he receives a not e from one of his former flames who wants him to come back to her and is willing to s upport him in high style. "Superstar" (English Only) - You'll laugh, you'll cheer! A new queen of comedy is born! - Earl Dittman, "Wireless Magazine" "Saturday Night Live" star Molly Shanno n brings he r popular character Mary Katherine Gallagher to the big screen in this hilarious comedy romp. All schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher (Shannon) wants in life is a kiss. Not just any kiss, mind you a big-time, hold -your-breath-'til-you-think-you're-gonna-faint, Hollywood-style kiss. But no matter how hard she tries, no one will kiss her. Mary Katherine decides that the only way she's ever going to get what she wants is to be come just like the people she sees getting those kisses in the movies.
