Aldehydes, Lily-of-the-Valley, Peach, Honeysuckle, Neroli, and Bergamot are the top notes. Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Lily-of-the-Valley, iris, Coriander, Rose, Lily, and Geranium are the middle notes. Sandalwood, Amber, Vetiver, Musk, Benzoin, Vanilla, and Patchouli are the base notes. This fragrance is the 2005 FiFi Award Hall Of Fame winner.</p>

Iconic fragrance that lasts throughout the day.  I cant believe the scent is still as I remember it because its been so long since its been discontinued.  Rue La La and others sell this for $39.99   so this is a great deal.

I particularly like the Arpege line of parfums. When my husband was in the Navy in 1958, he sent me some from France. Takes me back a million years, or so it seems.

Arpege Eau de Parfum is one of the best Fragrant in its category. It is on par with Chanel and Joy,  I have been using Arpege for over thirty years, and its high quality remains.

Classic Perfume

i didn't like it. it used to last all day long and now it does not and nobody compliments me on it like they used to  I've been disappointed.  I'd return it if i hadn't used it 3 times. i won't buy it again

doesnt stay long

I am usually happy with Walmart purchases but not this time. 
I got my first Arpege as a gift from my grandmother and I loved it, the smell was heavenly and I could smell it on my clothes even several days after. I was using it sparsely so it lasted me 4 years or so.  I bought this one after I ran out and it is not at all the same smell. The packaging and the bottle is the same as my old one but what inside smells almost rancid at first. After the initial cheap perfume smell goes away, it leaves soft and nice base notes but then again, its nothing like what my first perfume that was gifted to me. 
I bought another bottle from a different store after this one and boom, got the good old Arpege essence in that one. I am not sure what was wrong about this one, maybe a bad lot or a well packed knock off.
The delivery was fast and good as always though.

Not the original Arpege smell I expected

Fragrance seemed to be off.  Have bought this product for 42 years and this one was different.

I had worn this for years and when my last vintage bottle was empty I was thrilled to see it was still available. Sadly this is not the same fragrance at all. Apparently it was "reformulated"-ie "ruined" at some point. It is nothing like the original and has a harsh acidic quality to it. I really dislike it. The only good thing is the bottle- which is certainly not worth 30 bucks. :(
