I like the retro games and it's better than I thought it would be for the price I paid for it. The only thing I don't like about it is the screws that you have to undo are tough to unscrew to put the batteries in the controllers, and they take a little getting use to.

You can use the microSD card slot to add over 16,000 ganes to this unit from the Atari 2600, 5200, %26 7800 plus Nintendo Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, %26 NES as well as arcade machines too. It's a powerful little device!

Modern video games depict too much lifelike violence, but 1 of my 6 kids loves games so this was our compromise. Games we grew up with in the 80's while we still loved playing with our friends outdoors.  He actually LOVES it even though his friends have Nintendos and Playstations.  His view is that he has something unlike his friends which means more things to play.  He also loves that dad and I actually like to play them too and it is nostalgic for us.  He is also happy that it is so small because it is easy to pack and take to a friend's house. A total WIN-WIN

Purchased this to show my kids what classic gaming was like. I thought that they would hate it but we ended up having a family competition…many laughs and jokes about the graphics, skill level and the controller but overall it was a blast!

A blast from the past

This system is misleading it says you get over200 plus games u don't really and as for all the ones the show on package you get are not on the system at all . In very disappointed and the picture was awful also . I have a newest Roku TV so there shouldn't be any problems with the picture. In returning cuz it's not what I wanted what I wanted was what the advertisement said.

You don't get what the said you do

I liked the concept and the ease of wireless joysticks but other than that, it says over 200 classic games. that's false!! I haven't counted them but it don't look like it even comes close to having 200 games let alone CLASSIC games!! it has several of the games listed twice it don't have Donkey Kong, Gallaga, Frogger, Pac Man or any of the games like that and they are all the definition of CLASSIC Atari games!! the joysticks are hard to control and the graphics ain't near as good as the original Ataris which is odd considering todays technology. The kids enjoy tho so I'll keep it but I'm highly disappointed!!

False advertising—box text and online text say STAR RAIDERS is included. Turn it on and the console menu does NOT include. PROMISE BROKEN. Other games are there, many beloved faves. But generational fave Breakout is UNPLAYABLE—paddle control goes too fast, making you constantly miss the ball.

Instructions were confusing on starting up. Not clear which joystick is primary. Not clear that you MUST use that primary joystick to start and select games. Why would you entrap  and frustrate your own customers?

Console has wonderful content, but LIES and TRAPS customers. I love Atari but I cannot recommend this product because I can't trust it.

P.S.
Firmware upgrade is mentioned, but instructions FAIL TO MENTION where to check the version of firmware and how to update firmware? That sabotages the product, which is nuts. Company has abandoned the customer as trash: how is this not insane???????

P.P.S WALMART IOS APP IS MALPRACTICE— you don't give a message “there is an error in your review please submit” WITHOUT HIGHLIGHTING WHERE THE ERROR IS!! HOW CAN I ADDRESS THE ERROR IF YOU'RE SO TRASH AT PROGRAMMING?!

FU WALMART

I was so excited about this purchase which was supposed to allow me to visit my teen years of Centipede, Ping, etc.  However, the joystick robbed me of that trip back in time.  The system did not allow me to adjust the sensitivity of it and the joy was nonexistent.  So, back to the store it went.  Major disappointment.

No fun whatsoever

cheap no pac man not easy to navagate 2 player works sometime,  not all gamea show the part to actually play.

Only one controller works.  Can't switch to a new game without holding several buttons at the same time or you have to manually turn everything off and start over.  No explanation or instructions of anything.  I gave it away because I was frustrated with trying .
