I bought this...basically because i fancied a new gadget, and honestly advertising definitely works on me, I've seen loads of people that have them, and I thought sure why not. I figured it would be a fun distraction. 
  
However, even as somebody that streams to almost exclusively zero people, this is still amazing. It covers so many handy little functions, and what I thought might be a gimmick, is genuinely being used non stop while I'm at my PC. Its also made the small amount of streaming I do, far higher quality and easier. 
  
Amongst many other things, I even set up some copy/paste text macros for working from home that were productivity lifesavers during lockdown. 
  
Plugins are excellent too. I haven't found something I imagine I want to do with it yet, that somebody hasn't made a plug-in already to do so. 

It rules. Get one.

I was in Canada and got the MK.1 Best Buy, Kamloops after Christmas last year. And I been amazed how powerful this device is. You are able to do basically everything to control your computer, stream and games and is really good quality. I currently have this mounted to my simulation racing rig and it matches so well with my rig. So glad i got one. most definitely be looking at the other products.

Stream Deck MK.1 Best buy I ever done.

I bought this stream deck 2 years ago for streaming, but after that I wanted to try more, so I made icons for Star Citizen, which help making gaming easier, people really liked it and really like the Stream Deck as well!, the reasons I chose this over a tablet is that you have physical buttons with a lcd under it, so you keep the button feel, but you can make the button as you like it!

I would def recommend this product, I'm saving for the 32 (XL) nowij

I've had the Elgato Stream for a few years now, I love all the features it has. It makes it so easy to swap between scenes and I love using it for doing random sound effects and creating markers and clips of my stream :) so happy to have this product and makes things easier for sure!

Such a useful product!

I wanted to bring my streams to the next level, so I bought the Elgato Stream Deck. Needless to say, I am satisfied with my purchased. I can transition scenes through Streamlabs, create buttons for games to launch and do any command I want on my computer through my stream deck. If you want to elevate your stream and stand out, the Elgato Stream Deck is for you.

Huge Game Changer!

I have two as part of my streaming setup, one to control my wavelink program in a pinch and the other to control OBS settings as well as other programs! The multi action  is ESSENTIAL to making streaming an ease! With one button, I can have OBS launch, open up my wave link program, open twitch dashboard, send out a tweet of going live, change my display name on Twitter to LPxDC (STARTING SOON ON STREAM!) and even change the lighting in my room! If that's not power, I don't know what is!

i have the stream deck,15 key version,about 3 months now and its just great.i like the led screen so you can put images or whatever you want on it so you know what the button is for.i really love the gif feature,really derpy.i just want the team to not give up and keep adding more and more features in the future!

overall a really good idea

The posibilites and the control are excelente and limitless you only need to get used to the sofftware and u can use whit the included software or any software programming hotkey, its excellent a top o the line a luxury but its so helpfull a makes life on your computer easier, i also program it for video editing whit premiere

I bought this blindly when it was announced not really knowing how much I'd use it but knowing it looked and sounded cool and I have had zero regrets since. I know I am not using it to nearly the potential it has, but the Stream Deck has definitely changed my work flow and made it so much easier to produce content. I have it set up to be able to start recording, start a live stream, turn on and off my mic, take a screen shot, launch apps, turn on and off my Elgato Keylight, so many things. I even just love looking at it on my desk. It's such a cool device and being able to personalize all the buttons is great. I have all sorts of comic book characters I love on different buttons. It's very easy to use and if you dive deep enough into it, it is an absolute production game changer. It is one of my favorite gadgets I own and I have even seen it used in actual TV and radio production.

There is no comprehensive manual for this piece of electronic equipment. A quick start guide is provided both in the box and on the website but other than that I've been looking high and low and can't find a, "Manual for Stream Deck MK.2. The unit might very well be fantastic but I need a long manual with pictorials for my ease of use to kick in.
