This is a great add on for an easy set pool. Super easy to assemble and easy to clean. Have your skimmer net ready when you remove the bucket tho- there will be bugs and small debri that were trapped under the bucket that will leak out into your pool. Not really a big deal tho. I use it on my 18 ft bestway above ground pool. This is the second one Ive purchased- so i cant speak for the longevity of the product- but it does such a good job I bought it again when M
my other one needed replaced- so that says something about how well the product works. And for the price- I dont mind having to replace it every few years. It really does a good job keeping the surface of the water free of bugs and leaves and any other debri that ends up in your pool.

our pool is only a week or so old but thanks to the rain it had gotten quite a bit of debri and pollen in it.  overnight it was all clreared up, works well!  
we have a 14x14x40something or other above ground pool. we did upgrade the pool pump one level higher than the one that came with it as well to aide in cleanliness with the amount of use its about to get.

Came with everything I needed skimmer, hose, and adapter for our intex rectangle pool 
If the skimmer doesnt have water flowing over the top your filter needs to be backwashed or theres an obstruction under adapter some bugs and particles do get through skimmer screen 

Cleans our pool better than any sidewall skimmer in our past pools

This product work well and fix my coleman 15' above ground swimming pool.  Does a great job in cleaning the water.  Previously, I did it with a net and very hard to do.  Should of purchased with along time ago or purchased a pool with a skimmer in the first place.

Clean Water

it arrived early. had it installed in 2 minutes. it works like a charm. gets the bugs, leaves and all the other top floating debris. it will clear the water in a matter of minutes. basket is easy to remove and clean. no problems with it staying attached to the top rail of my pool. no problems with the hose fittings. i like that i can move it around if needed. easy to remove and store away for the winter. best $27 ive spent.

Must buy for above ground pool with no side skimmers!
If you have an above ground pool with no side skimmer this is a must have. I purchased an 18x48 metal frame intex pool last year, and my pool only has a side intake far below the water line. Which means any leafs or bugs that fall into the pool just stay floating on the surface or sink to the bottom. I can't tell you how many hours I spent using my net trying to fish everything out. I can't remember how I stumbled across this little beauty but I'm so glad I did. Now the directions that came with it were 100% clear to me, but I managed to get it put together and put inside my pool. When I put it in, I had several dead bugs and leaves floating around I didn't net them out I decided to see what this little gadget could do. I installed it around 6pm, when I got up at 7 the next morning my pool so clean and clear! Everything had been caught in the skimmer! This was well worth the money! If you have a pool with no side skimmer this is a MUST buy!

This purchase was to replace the INTEX Wall Mount Skimmer we bought 5 years ago.  This products quality is fantastic for our 20 Foot Round above  ground  Intex pool.  We bought this one again because  we were satisfied with this skimmers performance  at removing  leaves and bugs from the  waters surface.  Very easy installation and removal when shutting  the pool down  at the end of pool season.

Great skimmer  for Intex Above Ground Pools

This skimmer works amazing in our 10 foot diameter pool. However, if it does not have its own dedicated pump, it does not work that great. Luckily, I had a pump left over from last season‘s pool and I was able to finagle it to work.  But if you only have a small pump like 330 gallons per hour or less forget about it.

Works great with a strong pump filter

I used this on my Intex 14'x42" round pool. Very effective. I did however have to plug up one of the two outlet ports to make sure there was enough suction. I'm using the Intex 1600gph pump, so even with the upgraded pump I still had to plug one outlet port. Not a problem though. The skimmer catches everything on top. I would very much recommend to everyone. For the price and efficiency.

Easy setup and very effective!

This started out really great but after 15 mins  or so it stopped working. The suction it had completely went away. I even watched some videos to make sure it was set up properly. I cleaned the filter and made sure everything was still attached correctly. Very disappointing after having high hopes
