Amsterdam Double Pannier Bag is rated 4.488549618320611 out of 5 by 131.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from M-Wave - Amsterdam Double Pannier Bag Great addition to any bike, large and well made. Easily handles 24 cans of pop/beer with room for ice packs. Don"t drink and ride!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good panniers I have used these to go to the beach on my bicycle. They hold a lot of stuff and are pretty sturdy. I think they will last a good long while. And I believe they are fully waterproof - the covers over the storage are good. For the price they are a good purchase and I would purchase again. I am a 25 mile to 50 mile rider. I will test these out on the MS 150 next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bags for the Price These bags exceeded my expectations for the price paid. Getting the plastic inserts in place was hard. My advice is start with the very slow going bottom pocket and it will easily slide into the top pocket if you're not afraid to bend the plastic. As long as you don't crease it, it will return to shape so bend it like a boss. I also had to provide a little Gorilla tape to keep the loose strap ends from rattling in the spokes like cards on a kid's bike. (There are 2 securing straps on the inner sides of the bags that you can make out on the pictures if you look closely). Once assembled though, these have worked great for me. Each one holds about 2 standard plastic bags of groceries provided you are willing to repack them directly into these bags and you're able to survive more than a round or two of Tetris. Obviously, grocery selection makes a difference. A bone-in ham would be problematic and I prefer to put 2 litres in a backpack because their shape doesn't tetris well with the shape of the bags. Canned goods fit especially well if you put them on their side in the bottom. I have mine secured to the rack with a $5 cable lock to discourage theft of the bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy Great bag for the price. As a longtime cyclist I can honestly say I have purchased numerous sub-par panniers in the past and this one actually delivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad at all! I bought these because my last one was too old to function. I was scared to install after reading some reviews. I have a standard mt bike, with a standard rack that has the side braces. I have no idea as to why you have to install the plastic pieces into the bags...I was not motivated enough to install them. The bags are HUGE! Much bigger than my last one! I took all the straps off, I didn't cut anything, and used them to install the bag to the top of the frame ONLY. My last one was tied down this way. Nothing gets stuck in the spokes, or rubs on anything. I am not one to take this bag off the rack, I installed lights over it. I never ride my bike in heavy rain, or any, so I will never know if these bags are water resistant...but scotch guard could be used. The reflective tape on the back is bright enough. I don't understand what the water bottle bags are for, but if you need to carry extra water for someone, this would be the place to do so. I have only used this for maybe a week or two, and I think it is great. For the price definitely a good deal!
