At my time of purchase, Walmart had the best price I could find for this version of the iPad.  iPad itself is exactly what I was expecting.

iPad (9th Gen)

Super easy to set up exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was fast and easy. I didn't even have to be home to sign for it. The only thing that was confusing was it said C type charger but it was actually a lightning to C type charger so it doesn't match any of my other newer Apple chargers

I've had no issues with this iPad, it's my first one and everything transferred over from my iPhone seamlessly. I've yet to use the SIM card feature yet so I can't comment on that.

Going great so far

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent purchase from Walmart. The item in question was listed as brand new, but upon opening the package to perform the initial setup, I discovered that the iPad I received was already configured with Mobile Device Management and belonged to a healthcare company. I find this to be a deceptive and unacceptable practice, as such items should never be part of Walmart's inventory.

I contacted Walmart customer service and was informed that the item provided to me was indeed new and that my only option was to request a refund.

I immediately visited the Walmart store in Scarborough to process the refund. The experience was nerve-wracking, as I was initially told that if the item was purchased from a marketplace seller, I would only receive a refund of $250. They then checked the serial number, and when I inquired about the possibility of exchanging the item for an identical one, I was told that this was not an option and that I could only receive a refund. Fortunately, I was lucky enough not to have purchased the item from a marketplace seller.

This entire shopping experience has left me with the feeling that I never want to engage in any transactions with Walmart again.

The managers at the Scarborough store who handled the return process showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and did not acknowledge any wrongdoing on Walmart's part or the need for fair treatment of customers. My only request was to exchange the item for an identical one available in-store, but this was coldly refused, and I was given a plethora of scripted reasons for the denial.

I have marked this review as a 4 only because I was able to obtain a refund (although I have not yet received the money), but please understand that as a customer, a refund is one of the worst possible outcomes when attempting to make a purchase.
