Description & Features+

She was a child living in an orphanage, or asylum, including disturbing visions of the ultra creepy Mother Superior-type who used to terrorize the children at night. Daniel Devine (Jason Widener) is an aspiring screenwriter with a lifelong obsession for Laurie who has written a screenplay about her childhood as a form of self-therapy. When his whacked-out powder keg of an older brother Nathan (C. Thomas Howell) is released from jail after serving time for killing their abusive father years prior, the brothers move in together. In a misguided attempt to help his brother's budding career, Nathan kidnaps the actress then takes both her and little Bro' out to the now abandoned orphanage - movie camera in hand - with the idea of forcing Laurie to star in their "masterpiece." There we learn the origins of Daniel's odd connection with Laurie, why she is having such a hard time forgetting the past, and the dark truth about what really went on at the St. Claire Asylum for Children so many years ago
