Avent Bottle to Cup Trainer Kit is rated 4.45 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally transitioned my 2 year old! This is almost embarrassing at this point but my 2 year old still drinks milk from a bottle. He should have transitioned a long time ago. He drinks everything else from sippy cups. Water, juice whatever, he's fine with, but milk he always had to have from a bottle. I had tried everything I could think of but he was just addicted to the Phillips AVENT bottles. I finally found this and decided to try it. He's still using the Avent bottle nipple with this, but he's finally making good progress with this one, and we'll be trying the sippy adjustment very soon, and I expect it to go well this time for once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fan! Great cup I am a big fan of Avent products. I have been using Avent bottles/cups/pacifiers since 2005. I consider it a leading, trusted brand. This Philips AVENT 5 Ounce Natural Trainer Cup, Clear does not disappoint. I love that it came with a textured silicone nipple (more like mama) and also a silicone "sippee" spout. I like that the shape of the Philips AVENT 5 Ounce Natural Trainer Cup, Clear is more like a breast with the wide nipple. My seven month old son is exclusively breast fed, so it is very important to me that I find a bottle/sippee cup that he will drink Out of comfortably when I can't nurse him. He had no issue with this trainer cup. He seemed quite comfortable with the transition from breast to bottle. That is a big win win for me! Sometimes I need I run errands, or just a break and it's awesome that he likes his Philips AVENT 5 Ounce Natural Trainer Cup, Clear to drink mamas milk from! I like that it is easy to take apart, and clean. I also love that it doesn't leak! Ain't nobody got time to clean up a leaky mess!! Plus breast milk is hard enough to pump without losing it from a leaky bottle! In all seriousness, the Philips AVENT 5 Ounce Natural Trainer Cup, Clear is a great choice for baby's first trainer cup. I need to go and get a few more. There are a bunch of cute colors and a few prints that I would like to get (I love sippee cups!). Do yourself a favor and get this cup! your baby will love it...and you won't regret it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for sippy beginners, bad for teething This is a great sippy cup to give babies that are just starting to transition from the bottle or breast to sippy cups. The wide body, large handles, and comfortable grip makes it very easy for them to hold, and it's very easy to get them started with the nipple like accessory, then after they get comfortable with holding it, you can switch them to the more classic like sippy cup spout accessory. However, this is a pain to fill, because the handles get in the way and if you're not careful you can easily wind up accidentally spilling the contents. The handles also make it a bit tricky to get the lid on at all. The accessory nipple and spout both are made of very smooth, very thin silicone, so they're not really ideal for babies that are teething and in need of something firm and textured to soothe their gums with. Both accessory mouth pieces leak profusely. The cup does not hold very much at all, there's markings for up to 5 oz. and I think its max limit is 6 oz. I would only recommend this as a starting introduction to sippy cups, then once baby is comfortable move them to a REAL sippy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart Training cup! My ten month old (at the time) gravitated to this cup immediately. This was the first cup we gave to him to begin training him to drink from a regular cup. He handled it perfectly and used it correctly the very first time. I like the handles on the cup but, getting the nipple lined up correctly on the other side takes a few minutes. I also like that the cup is clear. This makes it easy for me to see what's inside. The nipple is soft, similar to the texture of a nipple on a baby bottle. It has the shape of a spout though so it's different from a bottle nipple. I had no complaints about this product. My son likes it and he drinks from the cup easily. I would love to have this trainer cup in a bigger size. I would recommend this product to anyone training a small child to drink from a cup. It's a no brainer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay I personally am a big fan of Avent products, and this one is okay, but it is not a favorite. The size of the cup is decent. It is not too heavy for baby, but it doesn't hold enough. I usually need a refill. The handles also are great because they come out far enough the baby does not have to reach too far. It also is very easy to grip onto. Even if he lets go of one side, there is still a good enough grip with just one side. When it is dropped (or thrown), which is often is, I have not had any problems with liquids coming out or the lid popping off. It is very sturdy in that respect. I also like that it comes with the lid. This makes it easy to pack in advance of a trip, and not have to worry about the nipple getting dirty. That's the only part that did not work so well for him. He kept sucking it closed and then would just chew on it. We went to just a regular sippy cup instead and that worked fine. I would recommend this product for people with smaller babies (3-6 months), but after than I would opt for something bigger. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good trainer cup I received this product very promptly after it was requested. I loved it as soon as I opened the package. The colors are vibrant, design is cute, the handle is soft, and it comes with a stage 3 nipple as well, what more would you want for a training cup? Did I mention is is BPA free too?
