Bella Nutrispin Fryer Oven is rated 2.3333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from not as bad as everyone thinks Yes! the negative comments are correct, however if you dont use the spinner the food comes out just fine. It is all trial and error, same with the t-fal one. Dont go by the times in the book. We have cooked anything that can be done on the bbq in this (including hamburgers and sausage. frozen french fries take about 20 minutes. Frozen boneless chicken breast take about 40 minutess flipped over half way through.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Unfortunately, the negative reviews are accurate. The stirring system basically just mashes the food. I tried crinkle cut fries, and ended up with mostly bits. It's too bad. Other than this major flaw, it seems to be reasonably well-made, simple, and easy to use. I badly wanted it to work, but it's being returned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product I was very disappointed with this product. I started with fries thinking his would a good test. It was only for a couple of minutes and the spinner got stuck. The fries were crumbled and torn into small pieces. I had to stop an turn the fries constantly . Not exactly what I was hoping for. Having said that the fres were crisp and tasty. I will be returning it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from An Expensive Chicken Nugget Maker The stirring paddle in this thing is absolutely useless. When it isn't mashing your food into a ball of paste, it just gets stuck. The first thing I tried cooking in it were chicken nuggets. I used the paddle and in less than a minute it mashed a couple of nuggets and got stuck. I also tried cooking lightly breaded zucchini chips; after 20 minutes of cooking (the time suggested in the manual) half of them were mashed into a ball, together with all the breading, which got completely scraped off. Thinking I might've been using the paddle for foods that don't work with it, I actually went ahead and tried one of the actual recipes provided in the manual that does say you need to use the paddle: potato wedges. The paddle got stuck before I even had a chance to wash my hands after loading and starting the machine. I freed the paddle and restarted the machine. 15 seconds later, the paddle got stuck again, and the flour coating called by the recipe was already being scrapped off. Speaking of the flour coating... The lid doesn't come off and the heating lamp, the fan, and the metal grill that covers them are right above the food. Thanks to the fan, the flour flew all over the place, including inside that grill. I've used the machine only a few times today, and the lid is already dirtyI have no idea how I would be cleaning it after even a month of use. I was forced to finish off the wedges without the paddle, and I wish I had just fried them on a regular frying pan, because they turned out completely dried out and tasteless. Lastly, the beeping at the end of cooking is really annoying. The machine beeps for about 15 seconds and I was getting worried the neighbours would think the fire alarm was on. Since the machine does have auto shut-off, I don't understand what possessed the manufacturer to use such a loud, long, and irritating sound. While the chicken nuggets that I cooked turned out rather well, when I cooked chicken drum sticks in the machine, they were quite dry and tasteless, which means the nuggets are the only thing I succeeded making in this "fryer oven." Do I really want a $145 chicken nugget maker? I don't think so. Will return tomorrow. P.S.: the manual provides only six recipes and looking at the bizarre ingredients lists for them, I think they received as much testing as the barely working unit itself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as good as expected I was looking at buying a tfal fryer for a few months and my husband purchased the Bella Nutrispin Fryer instead as a Christmas gift. there is a spinner in it that is suppose to keep the food rotating however the food keeps getting stuck in it causing it to grind, therefore I have to stand with it the entire time to keep dislodging the stuck food. I have tried to use it every day with different foods to see if I really like it or hate it. I am seriously considering returning it as I am annoyed that I have to stand watching it the entire cooking process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product I bought this instead of the T-Fal due to not being happy in the past with them. I really did like this product but, with frozen fries, there is a little bit of fry damage. That being that the fries are broken apart or destroyed.
