Ratings & Reviews+

Blu-ray Disc Player - BD-E5400 is rated 3.6359 out of 5 by 206.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good player for low price Had an old blu-ray player with Netflix that kept dropping the connection. Decided to try this one since it was so inexpensive. The wireless connection works great on this one. Netflix, YouTube, and CinemaNow all work great. It also starts up fast when you insert a disc, and the menu screen is very easy to navigate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Love this unit. My old Pioneer wouldn't play so many things.  This one plays everything. Make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable or it won't work. Bought HDMI cable at Walmart for $5.00.  Can't complain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good, not consistent Play Blu-ray and dvds great, a little slow with Netflix and sometimes freezes, but that probably has more to do with my internet connection than the machine. It won't always connect to Netflix. It will start loading, then turn off and back on. SO I have to try again and again. Also sometimes will not turn off. It will freeze and I have to unplug it to power down. It did sync itself to my Samsung tv which was nice. A pretty good machine but I want it to work 100% of the time, not 50/50, thinking about taking it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! I bought this and it doesn't function well. There is a delay between a command from the remote and the machine responding. It often freezes up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Features however... When I bought this item, I was expecting the full package. However, my issue is not with walmart. My issue is with the brand. Samsung could have put in an HDMI cable so I could hook up the blue ray player to the tv. Without the HDMI cord, I can't use the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cinavia enabled but overall good The product is very good. Small and compact. Loading speed if good too. Only bad thing is the Cinavia protection that apparently is on all Blu-ray players. So if you made a digital backup of any of your blu-ray/dvd's then it may not play the audio on it.
