Got this along with a futon. Assembly is not too difficult and final product is sturdy. I recommend it for people looking for simple and small coffee table.

Inexpensive value purchase

I read all of the reviews for this coffee table and almost didn't buy it. I'm glad I did. It's nothing special, but it is decent for the price. I highly, highly recommend taking the advice to use wood glue when putting it together. It's super solid that way. It was not complicated to put together, just a little awkward in a couple spots, but the directions were clear. This table isn't very big, it's about the right size for a love seat, and it's a bit low, perfect for sitting on the floor and eating or typing at. All in all it was exactly what I needed and for the price I needed and I don't regret my purchase in any way.

Good, inexpensive table when you're in a pinch.

I was kinda upset by how low the table set compared to the end tables. I have to find another use for it because it really is too small compared to the rest of the living room furniture. Guess it was my fault for not paying attention to the measurements.

Decorating Experience

Having so easily put together two bookcases by Sauder, I was expecting assembly of this coffee table to be a breeze. It wasn't. It was easy enough to understand what I was supposed to do. The parts were clearly marked and the instructions were simple enough to understand. But the method by which the top is attached to the base has got to be one of the worst examples of bad engineering I have ever encountered. I struggled for close to an hour to drive screws into the bottom of the table with a screwdriver at an impossible angle. Simple little L-brackets would have been too easy or too obvious, I suppose. Still when I was finally able to get all but two screws driven in (those two never would go in), the table looked beautiful, and I was well pleased with it.

Assembly is challenging

You would think these would be painted all the way around but they are not. First, they are particle board, but what I really didn't like is that the bottoms of all legs are raw material. Very cheaply made. These would be ok for a young person just starting out but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up their living room. They are just very cheaply made.

Good for 1st time leaving home

It was cheap, looks good but not sturdy or easy to put together. Perhaps I am too pampered by Ikea's well build, easy to put together, and inexpensive furniture. This was replaced within a few days by an Ikea table. I would recommend this for a table that is not intended to be nudged and is expects simply to be set aside to hold up things like light plants or something like that. By the way, it is made of particle board.

Cheap, but not sturdy

Online, the item looked big but when it arrived it is not worth the money I spent on the whole set at all, it is VERY, VERY SMALL, and then I had to wait almost a whole month before I even received the item!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

It's much smaller than it looks. It's a real pain to put together and the wood cracked as I was putting it together. I also have the two smaller end tables which are tiny. The set is garbage. Save your money. You're better off shelling out the extra $$$ for a better quality table.

Garbage

The wood cracked easily if you screwed the parts together too tight. The hidden screws didn't fit properly.
This table turned out to be way too small for my living room anyway so there was absolutely no reason for me to hang on to it.
It went back to the store.
