Coleman Folding Saw is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coleman Campsaw I pulled this straight out of the packaging to test for an upcoming backpacking trip I cut 1 piece of wood less that 2 inches in diameter the blade seemed flimsy and did not cut well at all it is not something I would use to save my life the 8 dollars was better left in my wallet it would be OK to give this to a kid for tent camping to keep them busy cutting wood for a capfire as long as you keep an eye on them and dont expect much wood

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken first use... Cheapest so I picked this one. Opened the package, folded out the blade and attached the clasp. The clasp would not secure, the wire attaching it was bent out of place. I did not use it, didn't have a chance. After seeing the poor quality I'm not even trying to bend the wire holding the clasp or exchanging it. I'll be looking for something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great lightweight saw This is a great lightweight saw, a must have for a camping or outdoors entuziast. Cuts thrue 2-3 inches thick branches with eaze, does not take much space in a backpack, foldable. A bargain for the price, I'm very pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk The rubber pieces on the handle are falling off easily. If you lost one, you can throw away the whole saw. Coleman wastes good material on poorly designed equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works First off it's inexpensive, light, and does what it's designed to do very well. I gave it a 5 for meeting my expectations and value...Not saying this saw is made out of the best materials, but for ~$8 its worth more than the $8 sitting in my wallet, try cutting fire wood with a five dollar bill and a couple of ones. Watch the screw holding the blade on though, I put some lock-tight on it, almost lost the screw after cutting fire wood. Haven't had a problem since the lock-tight has been applied. Blade is thin so cutting down a Red Wood is out of the picture, stick with 4" or less to make sure the blade doesn't get in a bind. Good saw, little questionable when I first took it out of the package but after putting it through the works over the past year I have to say I'm glad I didn't return it, I would have just spent that $8 walking out the store on something else I have a dependable backpacking saw!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT A SURVIVAL SAW Do not trust this saw to be put in your survival bag! I am a wilderness survival teacher and run my own school in Houghton, MI. I picked up this saw to test out and it seemed to work well. I only cut a few times with it. I decided to put it through the chain of tests that I always do with my gear I put in my survival bag. If I am going to trust a product with my life, I am going to make sure it works very well. I cut a few pieces of wood fine, the blade is very sharp and does not bend too easily if you know how to saw properly, but after the third piece of firewood being cut, the screw holding the blade in place came undone and was lost hopelessly in the debris under where I was cutting. I gave it two stars instead of one because the blade is very sharp, the construction needs to be much better in order for me to trust my life with it though.
