I bought 2 of these sets and I absolutely love the contemporary style and square shape, a nice change from the classic styles. These plates have gone through some abuse and have survived through it. The mugs and bowls are deep and a good size.

Very durable modern set!

I wanted these dishes after giving away my huge st of Johnson Brothers Stonewear. These are so lightweight yet strong. Couldn't decide whether I wanted square or round or even what design I wanted. I think I made the perfect decision. They are beautiful!

I have been using Corelle dishes for 36 years. Very durable. Never broken a piece yet. I updated to a solid white set about 15 years ago. My set that I have had since 1976 are in our 5th wheel. My daughter-in law was always impressed wth my Corelle dishes but wanted a set with an up- to- date style. So I went with the Square Simple Lines.

I had one Corelle pattern for 25 years. I decided to replace it merely because I was tired of it, and decided to switch to stoneware. I somehow was thinking it was more "grown up". I had stoneware for a year and one day was just sick of it - it's heavy, it takes up too much room in the sink (I don't have a dishwasher), it chips, it's noisy, it's HEAVY to take out and put into the cabinet ... I was DONE! I bought the Simple Lines set and I'm ohhh so happy to have Corelle again!!!

It makes handling a breeze, being so light. The squares are fresh and modern looking, the footprint is pretty much the same as a round plate (I thought they'd take up more room, but they don't), they are fantastic. The stoneware is now sitting unused in a cabinet - I gave them a shot, but Corelle is what I want.

Corelle - I'm back where I belong!

We wanted two sets of Corelle dinnerware. By ordering them on-line we saved money and the shipping was free. We were amazed when we received the order in just 2 days.

We are using the Corelle daily, replacing heavier stonewear. We like the light weight and the sizes of the plates & bowls.

I bought this dinnerware set as a bridal shower gift from the Walmart Registry. I love Corelle Dinnerware for its durability and great price. I bought a similar set for my son and daughter-in-law when they started college over 15 years ago and it still looks like new after all this time and two grandkids abuse later. I also loved being able to order online and have the item shipped to store for pickup. Quickest and easiest way to get the right gift!

Great Bridal Shower Gift

I bought this set 8 years ago !   We just needed to buy new ones because the design was coming off.  WE love them. I can cook in the oven at 350 using the dishes and not need two things to get dirty.  LOVE them.

I have been looking at these dishes for several years and finally purchased them. When I saw the the 32 place setting for a discount price I decided to buy them. They go perfectly with my kitchen and dining room decor. I love the durability. I was using stoneware that showed every scratch. I would definately recommend these to everyone.

Just what I expected

It's really lovely. No chips so far after a couple of months of use, but some of the design lines are gradually starting to fade. Also, the material does transfer heat more than ceramic, you want to be careful when you are bringing it out of the microwave for instance because it gets really hot.

Good value overall

Dishes look very nice. They are lightweight and seem durable at the same time. However, I tried to microwave a hot dog on a plate and it made a light brown spot on the bottom of the plate as if it burned. Even though, the dishes are supposed to be dishwasher/microwave safe, I'm not sure about it.

The screen printing on one of the luncheon plates did not adhere properly and the large plates weren't printed evenly. On each of the large plates, one side of the plate did not get enough color and you can see the screen lines. There was a brightly colored card in the box instructing the customer to call a special 800 number with any concerns. Well, I soon found out the number is only available
Until 5 pm est and even when i get a break to call during the day I get put on hold by a machine and have to get back to work before they answer.
