"A Sense Of Humour": Luke and Marco are two b-list stand up comedians who tour across Québec playing to small town crowds. Part of their shtick every night is to pick a victim and make fun of him, much to the audience's delight. At Anse-au-Pic, a remote community which borders the Saguenay region, they choose Roger Gendron, a bashful cook who flips burgers at the local diner. Big mistake: Roger is a complete nut case. "Father And Guns": Jacques and Marc are father and son, both cops. They are about to work together as a team. Trouble is.. they can't stand one another. They have been paired up in order to save the life of a fellow officer kidnapped by a biker gang. The success of their mission hinges on a lawyer in crisis. Charles Bérubé may be the bikers' legal representative, but he looks ready to betray his clients to the forces of law and order. Jacques and Marc go undercover to get close and personal with their target. Will they coax Bérubé into baring his troubled conscience? The film combines the strengths of a great, classic comedy cop thriller with a hilarious study of a dysfunctional, father-son relationship.
