"Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Fifth Season" - Larry David seems to have the perfect life - a loving wife, forgiving friends, a beautiful home and a sandwich named after him... but is there more to life than all that? See Larry play Bingo with the elderly, treat some new friends to a ski trip, invite a stranger to Seder, donate money to a Korean chum, visit a sick man in the hospital, take an interest in other faiths and discover his family roots. Is this the dawn of a new Larry David... or is it just the end? Episodes Included: Disc 1: "The Larry David Sandwich" - A near-death experience sets Larry on a soul-searching journey, made all the more desperate when his father reveals a stunning secret. Meanwhile, Leo's Delicatessen unveils a new sandwich bearing Larry's name - unfortunately, the ingredients are not to its namesake's liking. "The Bowtie" - Larry enlists the help of a private investigator to secure information about his past. He suffers some politically incorrect setbacks when he adopts a dog that Wanda deems "racist," and when he falls off his pedestal as a "friend o' lesbians." "The Christ Nail" - Larry unwisely purchases a brassiere for his housekeeper, Maria, and quickly engenders the wrath of her vengeful husband, Jesus. The only things that can save him are a pair of noisy orthotics and a prop form a popular film. "Kamikaze Bingo" - Larry dishonors a Japanese art dealer by disputing his claim that his WWII veteran father was a kamikaze pilot. Larry's poorly-crafted apology does nothing to help. Larry also suspects that the Bingo game at his father's nursing home is rigged. "Lewis Needs A Kidney" - Richard Lewis faces a grim truth: he needs a kidney transplant or else... Larry and Jeff are both positive matches, but that doesn't mean they're jumping over each other to get to the operating table. "The Smoking Jacket" - Richard Lewis's comatose cousin might make Larry's birthday wish come true, and in turn he promises to fulfill the wish of a sick young man. A potentially misdirected gift from his father spurs Larry to swap smoking jacket with an icon. Disc 2: "The Seder" - Cheryl hosts a Passover Seder, during which an old woman faints, a child chokes, and Larry ruffles feathers by inviting a known sex offender and picking a fight with a local doctor he believes has been stealing his newspaper. "The Ski Lift" - Time is drawing short for Richard Lewis, and his cousin still lies in a coma. Larry desperately tries to befriend the head of a kidney-transplant consortium in order to move Richard to the top of the donor list, and keep his own kidney. "The Korean Bookie" - Larry unsuccessfully dabbles in gambling with the local Korean bookie, whom he later suspects of kidnapping Jeff's dog. Always willing to take one for the team, Larry ends up as the biggest jackass at the wedding of friends. "The End" - Larry is changed when he travels to Arizona to discover his family roots. An uncharacteristic selfless act has disastrous results and, after un-Bea-lievable discovery, Larry has to make some big decisions about life.
