We've only had this bed for a little over a week but so far, so good. I purchased this for my 12 year old son & he likes it a lot. Site-to-store option was great & the bed arrived faster than expected. Parts were packaged well & instructions were easy to follow. We took the advice of another reviewer & added curtains attached w/shower curtain hooks to give my son a quiet, private space for reading, playing his Nintendo 3DS or doing his homework. We choose black cafe curtains which came two in a package. We also got a pool noodle for the rungs of the ladder. My son used duct tape to secure the length of the pool noodle to keep it from falling off the rung. I keep telling him that I'm jealous & I would've loved to have a bed like this when I was his age!

My only minor complaint is that the bed seems a bit wobbly. Not sure if or how this can be fixed. I also attached some rubber adhesive grippers to the bottom of each pole so the bed wouldn't move that much &/or damage our newly refinished 57 year old hardwood floors.

I really love this bed and so does my 9 year old son! It's high enough that he can have a little fun area beneath the bed and not so high that I can still change the sheets etc. The ladder is uncomfortable on bare feet so we don't use it. We still have the stairs from a wooden bed we had prior so my son uses that instead. 

My boyfriend put this bed together by himself and it came together pretty quick! I'm very happy with this purchase!

LOVE THIS BED

This bed is absolutely PERFECT. I was concerned my son would be devastated when he came home and found hos cars bed gone but he LOVED it my son is 4 years old but more the size of a 2-3 year old this bed is still perfect Very sturdy I have gotten on the top with him and watched.movies he loves the space an so do I gives him so much play room we also fit a 9 cube shelf from target under this bed.! I would totally recommend ths bed it was very simple to put together took my hubby about an hrm or less and he did it by himself. My only complaint is the bars on the steps are very narrow so kinda hurts ur feet I did know this tho when I bought it and my son has never.complained

Amazing

I wanted a way to maximize floor space for my 1 and 3 year old. Their beds had taken over the room and therefore their toys had taken over my house. I didn't want a typical bunk bed because the 1 year old isn't ready for a big bed and the 3 year old would just jump from the top. I saw this on a daily deal and snagged it right up and have enjoyed every moment since. Putting it together was only difficult because the husband refused to read the directions. It was very easy if you followed the labeled directions and pieces.

I put the pool noodles along the edge and the ladder but I don't think it is 100% necessary on the ladder. The intent was to provide more cushion for the 3 year olds feet as he climbed up. As you can see from the picture it does add more surface area to step on. It easily fits the toddler bed underneath as they grow I intend to just put the future twin mattress on the floor for the baby.

As others have said notice that the ladder can only be installed on the right side. There is no other way to configure it. This was not an issue for me because of the room layout but may be for others. No complaints about this bed at all.

Exactly what I was looking for

very pleased with this purchase. wasnt difficult to assemble. took hubs and I less than an hour. shopped fast. came with all the pieces, instructions, everything perfect condition. it's great for pur boy's small room. we might purchase another for our other son.

great bed

Got this for our 11 year old daughter as her big Christmas gift. She absolutely loves it! We got this so we could rearrange her room enough to put a desk in and it worked perfectly! Easy to put together as well! My fiancé and I had it together in about 45 minutes if that. We even got some lights and connected it to the bottom for her!

Love it!

I'm not the average buyer of this bed- I'm a law student. My budget is very tight and the room I rent is very small- hence the "Junior" size bed. I need the storage underneath and the ceilings are low, so I couldn't get a full loft bed.
It took about 2 hours to assemble (by myself), and so far has been great. I wouldn't recommend putting another person in it- but it holds me just fine (I'm about 130 lbs).

I bought two of these metal loft beds. Ship to home was nice, arrived on time, box was surprisingly long and narrow which means every single piece of this bed needs to be put together. The first bed took me about 4hours by myself but that's because I kept having to loosen and tighten loosen and tighten (do yourself a favor and hand screw everything together and THEN tighten) the first box was missing a slat and another slat was welded wrong, I had to call in replacement parts, haven't arrived yet but hope they are here soon. The second bed had all the parts no defects and went together in about 20 min this time since I knew not to tighten screws. I'm using one of them as a bunk bed and they look great, great for kids you worry might fall out since its not high off the ground and the guard rails are big and the latter is 3 steps. I used noodles and tape on the ladder slats because the kids do complain about it hurting the feet. I orders mattresses off Walmart to, the only thing is there's a good 3 inch gap at the end but that could be the mattresses fault. Overall pleased they seem sturdy and I'm happy with my purchase.

Pleased

My son decided he needed a loft bed for his birthday. Overall I am very pleased with this. It's worth the money. He is 9 and 70 pounds and this is very sturdy for him. We are using a pillow top mattress and it still seems to work fine with a few inches to the railing. Easy to assemble. It is a pain to make the bed.

Awesome loft bed!

My son is 5 years old and 36.6 inches tall. Yes he has to duck a little to go under the bed, but this bed is great for us because his room is about 9 feet by 11 feet. So storage is great when you have a bed like this. The bed does not squeak at all thank goodness. There are many metal beds that squeak when climbing and that is annoying. Also I have pictures showing that I added the 9 and 1/2 inch cut noodle to each of the three ladders and then I added the left over Mario duct tape that I had to the sides of each ladder noodle. To add the noodle to the ladder I added duck tape ( sticky side up) directly onto each ladder step and then I placed the split open noodle onto each ladder. I used the duct tape as an extra security to the noodles and as a decorative feature being that my sons room is Mario Bro. Theme. Hope the pictures help.

Great bed

Wrong sizing bolts and connections. Didn't make it thru step one.
