Episodes: "Going Out With A Bang": The Floods decide to have fireworks display in their garden so Mandy goes to invite Sam, James and Sarah. Sam explains that he is on duty so can't come but hands Mandy firework safety leaflet to give to Mike. At the fish shop James and Sarah are excited when Mandy invites them but when Mandy and Norman do firework impressions Lion the cat gets scared and runs off. In the search for Lion Mandy knocks over a firework that then veers off into Mike's workshop setting it aflame. Sam and the team arrive and thinking Lion might be inside Sam goes to the rescue whilst Elvis douses the flames. Finding no Lion in the blazing workshop everybody wonders where Lion has got to. On the way back to the fire station Sam and Elvis find Lion hiding in the back of Jupiter unharmed and in one of the safest places to be... on top of the firework safety leaflets. "Sticky Situation": Mandy has got Norman a model aeroplane kit for his birthday, but Norman, impatient as ever, doesn't bother read the instructions and quickly becomes annoyed with the fiddly plane. Norman thinks he needs stronger glue, however he doesn't read the instructions on the stronger glue either and ends up stuck to his bedroom door. Things escalate when the magnifying glass Norman has been using to make the plane starts a fire on his bed. Norman has to throw his, now burning plane, out of the window to alert Charlie to the emergency. Sam and the team rush to the rescue in Jupiter. Whilst Sam douses the flames Penny is forced to remove Norman's entire bedroom door in order to get him away from danger. Norman won't be ignoring instructions again in a hurry! "Best Foot Forward": At the Fire station Elvis is getting rather fond of the idea of using the ?Jaws of life' and when Sam promises him he can operate them the next time they are needed Elvis tries to use them at every emergency they are called to? including getting Lion the cat out of a tree. Meanwhile Charlie, Norman, Sarah and James are collecting muscles along the shoreline. Norman, Sarah and James get competitive over who can collect the most mussels in their buckets and in his haste Norman runs ahead and gets his foot trapped in some rocks. With the tide rising and Norman's foot not budging Fireman Sam and Elvis gets called to the rescue. Sam deduces that if Norman removes his shoe his foot will be freed... but what about Norman's shoe? Elvis jumps in and finally gets to use the ?Jaws of life' to save Norman shoe. "Hot Air": It's a very hot day in Pontypandy but Trevor is refusing to accept advice about his old bus not being up to the trek up Pontypandy mountain with Norman, Mandy and the Twins to spot a peregrine falcon. When the engine overheats, Trevor ignores Norman's advice and opens the bonnet, causing a fire to start. Sam and Elvis race to the rescue in Jupiter and quickly extinguish the flames. Trevor has to accept that he should listen to advice in future, even when it comes from Norman. "Alarm on the Beach": A ship has shed its cargo off Pontypandy bay. Penny is on hand in Neptune to make sure there's no danger. Charlie warns James and Sarah that they should be careful on the beach until all the crates are collected, Sarah doesn't want to go on the beach at all but James thinks she's boring and runs off to play with Mandy instead. When James and Mandy find a crate James is initially nervous, but Mandy convinces him that it would be exciting to see what's in the crate. However, whilst trying to open the crate it topples onto James trapping his legs. Sam and Elvis race to the rescue in Jupiter but Sam becomes concerned when the crate starts ticking. Thankfully the crate turns out to be full of alarm clocks! James resolves that perhaps he should listen to his sister in future - exciting can be dangerous after all!.
