Between the eccentricity of Diane Dufresne and the poetry of Richard Desjardins, Geneviève Morissette stands out with her vibrant personality. Introduced in Paris by Lynda Lemay at the Olympia in Paris in 2014, Geneviève lands in France at the beginning of 2015 with her suitcase. She came for two weeks and one year later she is still there, with her first album "Me v’là". Adding to the fact that this is the first time since Félix Leclerc that a Quebec artist releases their album in France before doing so in Quebec! The album includes songs recorded in the studio Le Garage in Paris, including a duet with the comedian Oldelaf, that she met while attending lessons in Astaffort led by Francis Cabrel two years earlier. Geneviève won four awards at the Festival de la chanson de Granby, including a writing session in France.
