Ratings & Reviews+

GoodNites Tru-Fit Real Underwear with Nighttime Protection Starter Pack for Girls, S/M 7 count is rated 3.6184 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Special Needs As many others have said this is great for special needs kids of all sorts as they can blend in by wearing normal underwear which for many special needs is extremely important as day time wetting or even incontinence is extremely common and this makes it discrete both when wearing the product and changing it as there is no need to remove clothing. However like many others have said more size options. The sizes should be seperated like normal underwear is (s,m,l,xl) to allow for a better fit and should go into larger sizes like xxl. So while I am happy with this product I am disappointed at the same time as the l-xl is tight on a slender 85 pound child so sadly the option is to go back to regular goodnites which is disappointing due to them being harder to change and not discrete and obviously the bedtime mats are useless for daily wetting. Good ites really needs to pay attention to all these reviews from disability parents and realize we are a huge part of their clientell and that with some slight size modifications they will have even more special needs clientel and have the existing clientel longer. They may not have created it for that purpose but they need to embrase the fact that they created a product that affects two common childhood issues bedwetting and incontinence from various disabilities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from something that works for an 85 lb child My kiddo is 9 and 85 pounds. It's been hard finding something that works for their size/weight. My kiddo outgrew the L/XL size of the competitors brand and we ran out of them anyways. I'm a single mom, out of work, desperately trying to find work and unfortunately I need to go to food pantries to make ends meet. Having a child who still wets the bed every night does not make it any easier. The volunteers at the food pantry have been wonderful and they usually will give you about 10 "diapers" if you request them, but my kiddo is way too big for those and pull-ups. But the last time I was there I was given a wonderful huge pack of extra-long urinary incontinence pads (62 of them). That's 2 months worth of nightime protection for my kiddo. Except they are actual "pads". I didn't want to put them in my child's regular underwear because I'm afraid it would still leak everywhere (poor kid sleeps so soundly they could flood the bed and not wake up to go to the bathroom). Well I googled around trying to find an affordable way to deal with continued bed wetting and use the Poise pads I had been given (2 months worth!!!) and found these GoodNites Tru-fit. Saw how they worked and figured the L/XL one would fit on my child and hold the Poise pads I got from the food pantry. Had to buy them online and go into the store to pick them up but so far these hold the pads in (even the other brand) and we have not had any leaks. I'm so grateful I found these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my daughter! We have used these for a year now and love them!!! My daughter is 25 and has Rett Syndrome . She can now wear underware that looks and feels like regular underware . We do wish more prints and colirs were available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money! My 8 year-old daughter was about to have her first sleepover with her classmates. She is beginning to feel embarrassed about wetting the bed, so we thought we would try out the Goodnites Tru-fit underwear about a week before the big day. I had really high expectations, especially because of the price tag. 2 pairs for $25? I figured it would be worth it for her to have typical, fun young girl experiences. My first dilemma began in the drugstore. What size would I buy? She's a skinny girl, but tall. She weighs almost 60 pounds. So I went with S/M as the package says it's good for up to 65 lbs. They were too tight and too small. So, back I went to purchase yet a bigger size X-XL for ANOTHER $25. These seemed to fit so we gave them a try. In the morning, she had leaked through these and all over the bed as well. There goes $50! Now the packages are opened and cannot be returned. What a waste of my money. We ended up with the Goodnites Bedtime Underwear in L/XL (yet another purchase). They work better, but look like diapers and cause issues that we were trying to avoid in the first place. Not impressed at all. Would NEVER buy these again. Buyer beware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Separate the sizes!!! These are an amazing product! Never once had leak issues but who came up with these weight ranges?! They are ridiculously impossible!!! the sizes need to be separated having small and medium together and large and extra large together makes it hard to fit the ranges properly. Using the L/XL size at 85-90 pounds is tight around the legs digging in and leaving marks and hurts and yet it's supposed to be up to 125 which I don't see as possible since there's not enough stretch to it like there is the pull ups so separate the sizes so they fit better and consider an XXL
