Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells great! I purchased the shampoo & conditioner and it's great. My hair is very soft and smells nice too. I love this line because the scent is very mild.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, Great Smelling Hair with Volume The first thing I noticed about the Herbal Essences Naked Volume Shampoo was the smell - the grapefruit and mint extracts are a great combination and they made my hair smell amazing. After the very first use of the shampoo I noticed how shiny and smooth my hair was. After growing up with curly, frizzy hair it's exciting finding a shampoo that controls the flyaways, especially one that also adds volume instead of just making my hair lie flat. One thing I would like to note is for people with sensitive skin. I am allergic to fragrance so I typically use homemade shampoo; applying commercial products tends to aggravate the eczema on my hands. I was hoping with this shampoo being "naked" that it might not bother my skin as much but ultimately the fragrance got to me and I developed a rash on my hands as a result. This is no fault of the product, it's just not the best fit for me. So after the two week mark my husband became my guinea pig, with the same results I had initially - clean, manageable, voluminous hair. Overall, based on my initial results, I give this shampoo five out of five stars. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shine, softness, volume I really liked this product. I have always been hesitant to try 'volumizing' products but finally gave it a try. Right off the bat, I love the scent of this shampoo. I love that it's 'naked' and isn't full of chemicals. My hair felt very clean and light after washing. The shampoo lathered really well and I found that a little went a long way. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best product from the line I give it a 4 instead of a 3 because it is better than the conditioner in my opinion. I apply this on the roots obviously and I feel it really does it's job from there. It lathers up well and smells amazing, I can't talk about the scent enough, seriously. The harsh-free ingredients are a great thing for more conscious shoppers like myself. The volume didn't appear in the first weeks but I see a huge difference now and I've been using it everyday. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Final review: it's good, not impressive I thought I'd give some final thoughts on the Herbal Essence Naked Volume line. Pros: Smells great, doesn't linger Cleans without feeling heavy Free of silicones, parabens and dyes Cons: Doesn't seem to create volume Hair feels sort of dry The souffle doesn't volumize, seems to weigh down hair Not sulfate-free, although it's free of silicones, parabens and dyes Conditioner isn't silicone-free Overall, after using this for a few months I might buy it if I need something cheap for a trip etc, bit I don't think I'd make it my go-to shampoo. I prefer sulfate-free shampoos for moisture and softness, and I didn't notice any obvious volumizing qualities. Overall it cleans well and smells great, but that isn't enough to make it my go-to.
