HomeTrends 8' Square Hardtop Gazebo is rated 4.1875 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Small Gazebo I was so excited when I found this gazebo to purchase! It took about a 12 days to ship to our door. Not impressed with the company they use to ship these big items. They want you to be around from 9-5 on the day of delivery. They ended up arriving at 3:50pm and had one very small man to carry this 260lb box out of the truck. It seems cruel to have 1 person to do such heavy lifting! The set up was a pain to say the least! One of the pieces had the hole drilled 1.5" off of where it should be and my husband had to get a self tapping screw to put a new hole in. I called the company and ordered a new piece but they said it will be 2 weeks for it to arrive so we just improvised. Putting the roof panels on was very confusing as the instructions are not overly clear and the upper roof panels were not labeled. It took us about 2-3 hours to fully assemble it. We had 5 people here to lift the roof on and put it on its posts. It's very heavy so the more people you have the better. It's a beautiful gazebo and now that it's together we are very happy with it. We can finally enjoy our south facing deck during the few nice days we get. It's a great option for people needing a cover for a smaller space! I can't speak for the durability as we only set it up a few days ago. It seems well made and is certainly much nicer than the cloth ones. Wish it included the mosquito netting like the same one on walmart.com does for $100 less. Overall I would highly recommend it if you need a small gazebo and if you can spare an entire day waiting around for them to deliver it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check and Tighten the screws often Follow the directions exactly - that is, when to tighten or not to tighten screws. Keep under a tarp until fully assembled, as the screw holes will rust if they get wet. Absolutely you need minimum 8 people to put the roof on, because the support beams need one person for each one. If taking more than one day to assemble, re-check all screws, and re-tighten. After roof is on the support beams, re-tighten from inside all the screws - moving the roof will cause them to loosen. If roof panels seem to have gaps, use all weather Nashua duct tape on top at the corner and middle bars. Important - screws come loose when movement happens, so after windy days and rain, you really need to shine a light on all screws, and check that they are not loose. The best way to tighten is with the large 'T-shaped' allen key, so keep it handy, and use it often. I bolted the legs to my wooden deck, using 2 inch lag bolts. It looks good, but I will be checking those loose screws always, as any movement did cause them to loosen. If anyone knows of a spray adhesive to go over the bolts, that may be worth doing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gazebo Takes a while to put together but all in all a good product. Feels sturdy on sale for $400 free ship right to door! Put felt pads between rafter and roof to stop metal from banging when walking under if on a deck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hardtop Most economical hardtop gazebo I could find. Shipping took longer than stated but it arrived ( mail ordered ). I haven't finished putting it up yet but so far it seems well made. Very heavy so wind shouldn't be a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up and easy to follow instructions. Great little gazebo. Only thing I would like to mention is that we wished it came with the netting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little gazebo at an unbeatable price! Easy to assemble (2 PEOPLE NOT THE 8 RECOMMENDED!). My wife an dI completed in under two hours. Try to use cordless drill or screwdriver it saves a lot of time and effort. 1 roof panel had a crease in it - but not worth waiting for another to be sent.
