We hesitated on this purchase because of other reviews commenting on how noisy this device is. The Igloo name, the price, and the fact it accepts 3 or 5 gallon bottles made us take a chance. The noise, we can hear it kick on but for us, it's minimal. Having 3 temperature settings is a great fit for our needs. We love the convenience of the machine. We tasted the “plastic taste the first few times we used it. We no longer taste it. Great purchase for our home.

Love our igloo

This is a great water cooler. In the past I've always had cheap top loading ones. This bottom loading dispenser doesn't require you to flip a heavy gallon of water over, allowing anyone in my family to easily load it with no spills. It operates quietly and reliably dispenses ice cold water as well as steaming water for coffee or tea.

5/5 stars would highly recommend to anyone

Quiet and Reliable

The unit is much noisier than a top loader.
The unit does perform as promised, hot water, room temp. and ice cold.

Likes and Dislikes

Happy that water dispensed is very cold or very hot depending on which tap you choose.  However, it is very noisy when drawing water up into the reservoir and somewhat noisy when cooling.  Heating is relatively quiet.

Somewhat noisy

I have square gallon and it didn't fit, the door I don't know if has something missing or broken because when you open the door it falls.

1st time I placed the syphon assembly into the bottle it broke off at the top...  The whole syphon assembly is cheap....  DO NOT recommend this type of assembly to anyone.

Cheaply Made

Unfortunately not much luck with this water cooler. It starts beeping  and then spilling water all over.  We have tried everything to troubleshoot this problem with no luck.
