Fantastic product. Been using it to grow flower, veg and herbs from seed. Grew lettuce all winter and enjoyed fresh greens when snowing outside. Powerful light source and no heat emitted. Great investment for gardeners.

Easy to put together, free- standing so they are easy to use over seedling trays. I have others that have lasted three years.

Quality Construction

I liked this product, bought 3 from walmart, the lights are excellent, my hydro lettuce is doing great... BUT it only gets 3 stars because of the stand--it is inadequate and not well designed (fragile, already broke one connector for the wire stand system), and it doesn't allow for raising or lowering the light--JIFFY could have designed a HOOKING or EYE system to allow for tying or chain with hooks, others have this at the same price point. I have a mini green house, and these are not the full length and impinge on space with their footing and are too high for seedlings, then too low as these grow--you can't adjust. At least with HOOKs that would allow you to attach chain or strong string or an EYE, would allow proper adjustments. I recommend for the smaller projects and one jiffy tray, but for what I want to do, they are not adequate. I bought 3 of these, kept because I assembled (and partly broke one connector), and so went to a different brand with a system that allows for hooking - for comparable price. the system says you can connect in series, but the connector is not supplied, nor did I find it available at walmart

Grow light stand is inadequate

Good setup, easy to assemble and fits well over an 11x22 standard seedling tray. However, when I measured the light output next to another Jiffy light I had, this one is barely giving off 700lumens (compared to over 1500) for the same price. That's not enough to support good seedling growth. At least with this one I can change out the bulb for one with higher output (interesting that NOWHERE on the bulb or packaging does it have lumens, just Kelvin and watts, else I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.)

Good setup, but light level is too low

I bought this lamp an hour ago.  Got home, didn't work.  Went back to Walmart to exchange and I was lucky that they allowed the exchange.    Brought the 2nd lamp home and FAIL again.   
Waste of money in my opinion

Never worked.
