LEGO® Star Wars™ - Slave I™ (75060) is rated 4.8047 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase. I bought this recently & I'm so happy with it. It was such a great piece to build & it's crazy how detailed legos are nowadays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Incredibly detailed and we'll put together kit. It's very large and looks fantastic as a collectors piece. It was packaged very well and came in good time as a Christmas gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun build for memories! If you are a Starwars fan this is a must have! I grew up watching Episode 4,5 & 6 and who doesn't love the Fett? I build Lego sets and they are my art pieces throughout the house. I usually build after work as a way to destress. The set is large, all bags are numbered and the set comes with a great instruction book. I built the set over a weeks time usually building a bag or two a day. It comes together very nice and the mini figs are a nice touch, four of them plus a Carbonite version of Solo. I do wish there was a mini fig display like with the Shield Heli Carrier set. It is a very nice large set that will bring back memories of first seeing Slave1 and who you were watching the movie with. Great job Lego with this set and thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolest Build Ever I got the Slave I LEGO set from a friend as an early Christmas present, and couldn't wait until Christmas to build it. I broke down and put it together this weekend, and it's the coolest build I've ever done. The first thing that ruined all other LEGO Star Wars sets for me is that Slave I is designed to scale. Boba Fett is just a tiny figure in his cockpit at the top of the model, and the ship is just enormous. It's heavy, too - 2000 pieces (give or take) makes for a pretty hefty model. From the vanes that spin as you lift the model to vertical flight mode to the angles employed by the Technic pieces to make all the angles just right, this is a brilliantly clever model. I have a whole lot of really great LEGO models that I use to decorate my home office, but Slave I is absolutely going into the prime spot. The stand that allows it to display 'in flight' is a magnificent touch. This isn't just a magnificently entertaining build, it's also an oooh-worthy trophy to display. If you have the patience and attention to detail to build this incredible model, I heartily recommend building Slave I. It's pretty darn amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to bad habits With the addition of a child Lego was brought back into my life. At first it was easy to resist because the sets he was building were pretty basic, though I would drool over the bigger more complex sets that I wish existed when I was a child. However, now when the kid is building I need to as well. This is the first set that is a step up from what I built as a kid so many years ago. Built over a week of evenings with my son while he was building the Millennium Falcon. I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed with how straightforward the instructions have become over the years with everything laid out piece by piece, it takes far less attention to detail to build any of these sets now than it did when compared to the instructions from 25-30 years ago. I still had fun building this set and it looks great next to the Imperial Shuttle Tyderium. While one can play with it and it seems like it would hold up as long as you don't drop it or run it into things, it is more of a display piece with a good stand. So now I've been sucked back into building and looking forward to that next set.
