Acadian-Canadian singer-songwriter Lisa LeBlanc, known for her enthusiastic "Trash-folk" performances, released her eponymously-titled debut album in 2012 to a stunning combination of critical acclaim and commercial success. The album has sold over 80,000 copies, and Lisa has since played major concert halls across Canada, France, and Belgium. Her upcoming six-song mini-album, Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted, is proof of this young artist's stunning creativity. Available May 27th via Bonsound, this release includes five original songs and one cover of the classic folk song "Katie Cruel" (popularized by Karen Dalton). Lisa infused the music on this new mini-album with the spirit of her road trips through iconic American cities like Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Austin, and San Francisco. The essence of these cities, combined with her bilingual New Brunswick roots, moved her to write this highly anticipated first English project.
