Due to covid I went back to coloring my own. I used this color 10 years ago and took the risk! I have received so many compliments on the blonde. It is a bit brassy at first and I use purple shampoo which takes the brass color out and add more definition. 

Now that I have the choice to go back to the salon... Im not. Saving lots of time and money!

This color   purple shampoo = perfection

This is the best hair color I have found that will actually cover gray hair and keep it covered for an extended amount of time. I even have a white streak down the back of my hair which is the hardest to color and it actually hold! But this product does and has for as long as I have used it. I found Lorel permanent hair color probably a year or more ago decided to give it a try because I was tried of spending so much money getting my hair colored! This has been my magical find! Just so you all know I am natually a brunette with a hint of red, so I am not steering to far off from my natural color. But with this product you will get a nice long lasting beautiful hair color. Of course you do have to make sure you follow up with the proper after care for your hair color or it will fade faster.

Excellent hair color product!

I have use this product for several years and enjoy the ease of application and the duration of the color. I especially like the conditioners that are included. Unfortunately, there was a reformulation or change in packaging and the last several packages have had split tubes of conditioner that are unusable due to being dried out. Very disappointing! I think I'm going to end up switching brands since I'm not able to get the conditioner that was one of the big features of the product

I am not pleased with the new conditioner tube packaging (red tube). It is opened/broken from the side.  It is sharp and dangerous I cut  my hands twice in the shower as I was trying to use it; half of it goes to waste. Overall my complain is about packaging See photo (your site is not allowing me to add a photo of the broken tube)

Overall the product is excellent

I am pleased that this color works every time to make my hair a platinum blonde color. Other reviews have said they ended up with an odd color or gray. I believe the developer in these blonde products are stronger than the red colored boxes ,(these boxes are blue), and I really only need to let it stay on my hair exactly 30 minutes. After that, I Am afraid it might become more silver/grey, so be careful with time on this color. Also, for those who said it did nothing or little, I think these people had hair that too dark to begin with. My hair was almost totally bleached out from Sally's Color Fix. my only problem is that I have almost totally white roots, which are more resistant. The color works great on my roots, but after washing a few times, my roots don't seem to hold the color as well as color holds on my previously colored hair. Plus, my roots are growing out within 3 weeks. Also these blue boxed blondes seem to make hair more dry. Other reviewers also noted that. So I may try methods like coconut oil conditioning (with real coconut oil for half hr or so) or using my expensive little bit of Oliplex with a shower cap. Also people have said the 02 color is actually the very lightest so I may opt for the 01 in a while. I have 2 more boxes left from Walmart of 02 now. My hair is such a short pixie now, I definitely split each box in half. For reference, I used to use the 8 1/2 champagne blonde excellence for around a year. Then I experimented with lavenders and permanent purple, thus the ColorFix.

I have been buying this product for a long time, too, and tonight another one of the red conditioner tubes split at the seam. The white ones never did this, and now last month and tonight, too. It seeps out all down the side. Excellence cream, step #4, just like the other lady said in her review.

Watch the conditioning tube. Will split on you.

I ordered this thinking I would get six of these.  Paid $33.00  .  Delivered today. Boxes were smashed. I received two and for that price for two I could have purchased at Walgreens for around $22.00. No more!!

Very disappointed.

What has happened to this hair dye?  It's not dying the hair around my forehead or sides!  Also the conditioner tube splits open on the side!  This has all occurred the last three times I've used it.  It used to be my favorite for the last 6 years, but I might have to look for another brand.  I am so disappointed.

I'm having the same issues as a lot of other women with this product.  It's not covering like it used to and the last two packages have had the same problem with the conditioner splitting over and making a mess.  The first time I thought it was just a fluke but after the second time and seeing that it's a common issue I wonder why L'Oréal doesn't do something about it.
