Minions:  The  Rise  of  Gru  is  the  origin  story  of  the  world's  most  despicable  super  villain!  Join  the  mischievous  movie  with  key  character  figures  and  fun,  button-activated  actions.  Kevin  comes  in  classic  overalls  with  construction  tools:  a  gas  tank  strapped  on  his  back,  a  torch  mask  and  a  flamethrower.  He's  armed  and  ready  to  build  Gru's  lair.  Press  the  button  on  the  back  of  his  head  and  he  lowers  his  arm  and  shoots  a  flame.  For  more  movie  fun,  also  choose  Stuart  in  Kung  Fu  gear  practicing  with  nunchuks  as  his  eye  follows  them  swinging,  Kung  Fu  Bob  who  strikes  a  gong  that  spins,  biker  Otto  who  throws  the  zodiac  stone  and  watches  it  fly  with  moving  eyes  and  Stuart  who  launches  a  sticky  hand  to  practice  grabbing  the  sacred  stone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is a true action figure! Love that everything can move, especially the flawethrower that shoots out a plastic flame. Love the springy button that makes Kevin's arm move. Love the extra tank that can attach to his back as well as the detachable welder mask with movable band. Very happy with this toy as it brought pure delight!

While playing with the toy, they were pretending they were in a minions movie and they had lots fun. The toy is very durable, it got tossed around by my rough kids and it didn't break. Very nice and fun you. It brought hours of enjoyment.

Flame Throwing Kevin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great size toy for younger kids with just the right amount of action! It was bigger than I expected and good quality. It survived playtime with my 5 year old son and several drops on the floor. The flame thrower is activated by pushing a button on Kevin's head which makes his arm go down and the flames come out. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this figure was sized to go with the Martial Arts Minions set and the accessories for both sets were interchangeable! This made it even more fun for my son!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toy for my daughter.  She loves the action of the flamethrower.  I especially like how the you can get the action of the flame coming out but it's all still attached in the tube when the arm goes back up.  Makes for losing parts a lot less of a chance.  Very colorful and well built.  Holds her interest and has since been used for multiple different playsets as both the villain and the saving hero!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came as described, my son enjoyed being able to pretend that Kevin was shooting fire out of his flame thrower and being able to remove or take off mask and weapon.  The toy is sturdy and stands up well to play the only downside I see is that it is difficult to take the flame thrower part of toy on and off the hand of the character, it usually requires adult assistance.

He has played with this toy both inside and outside and it has held up well to his rough playing. I think this is a great toy, easy to use and adds to the imaginative play. Good quality toy.

Flame Throwing Fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Minions Flame Throwing Kevin action figure works exactly as described on the packaging. The child pushes a button on the back of Kevin's head and his arm swings down forcing the flame thrower to “fire”. He also comes with a few accessories: the flame thrower, a welding hood, and a tank. My 4 year old liked this toy better than my 8 year old. My 8 year old was hoping the fire would shoot out like a dart. It might have been a nice touch if the flame lit up. Its a cute toy and good quality, but doesn't hold my childrens attention for long.
