Ratings & Reviews+

Ooma Telo VOIP Phone System is rated 4.2474 out of 5 by 1,726.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality is poor I'm disappointed with the quality of calls. All calls have buzzing noise and calls are dropped constantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I havve found that every aspect of Ooma is outstanding... IMHO I purchased Ooma years ago for my home. After some basic research, I found that Ooma was the one. Then I found that I could simply walk into a local retailer, pick the package off the shelf, purchase, return home, and then have Ooma running within 10 minutes. I was even able to keep my existing phone number. I moved to Ooma because I was fed up with my basic land-line service provider and their over-charges. This-charge, and then-that-charge, and o-then-another charge. I have saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars by moving to Ooma. Could even be that I have gone into the thousands of dollars in savings. And I am just a home user. I recommend it often to every one I know. I have also recommended Ooma to my small-business employer who is currently evaluating options. No kidding, this is a real recommendation. One of the very few that I have submitted in my lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ooma is by far THE ULTIMATE PHONE SERVICE! I have been using Ooma for several years now and unlike other phone service companies, as improvements are made the cost is never filtered down to the customer. In fact, I don't really have a phone bill at all. What's more, the sound quality and reliability are absolutely exceptional. Ooma is always looking to implement groundbreaking enhancements in equipment, call quality, convenience services and services that actually are aimed at saving the customer money. In short, NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. ....I LOVE OOMA!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All good, except when using VPN to log into work I really like this product, and have been using it for couple of years. The only problem I have is that each time the phone start ringing, and I am working using my employer's VPN, the VPN connection gets extremely slow. Once the phone call ends, VPN connection resumes to normal. Other than that, all else is very good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the money, it's fine Customer service is very good. The cost is excellent. The "Do Not Disturb" button on the modem is a great feature that is used several times a week in our home. However, the Blacklist has been totally wiped out twice and the service goes out too often when the internet is working. Also, on the actual Blacklist List, I am often admonished in red to put in a valid comment as to why I have chosen to add a number to our blacklist. If "Didn't leave a msg." isn't valid, I don't know what is. Having to dink around to find language and spelling that is acceptable to OOMA on OUR PERSONAL blacklist is, frankly, irritating and a waste of time. Also, editing a number on the Blacklist is not easy. We wanted to love Ooma, but it as it is now, we just use it because it's paid for.
