Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for price I bought this ovet a month ago.much has been written about its cost effectiveness. I have 2 complaints......broken tension dial so the tension cant be changed. As also mentioned by another customer here. Also short stride.otherwise, doesnt take much space and was assembled easily. If someone can help or guide me regarding the tensio dial,i will be very much thankful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's alright It's not bad but I should've spent some extra money to get a better elliptical. I was planning to use this several times a week but ended up just going to the gym because of the cons. Cons: Makes very loud noises when you use it Even at the lowest intensity it is hard to move (I get so tired in about 15 minutes even though I go for an hour on the elliptical at the gym) Took a long time to put together Pros: Inexpensive Suitable for stronger people since the lowest intensity is already pretty tough

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappionted!* I ordered this online on March 31st and received it April 6, delivered to my house. It's my first time ording something from Wal-Mart online as I like purchasing in the store it's more better that way! ...So I get my boyfriend to help me read the instructions and set up the ProGear Air Elliptical with Heart Pluse Sensors. My boyfriend and I were having trouble reading and understainding the instructions. The instructions are very time consuming we spent about 2 hours setting the elliptical trainer together. We never even finished the hole thing, we left the last part where you have to put the heart rate monitor on the elliptical trainer. Because it wasn't fully assembled together was because when we were putting it together I noticed a crack on the side of the plastic above a screw on the elliptical trainer which I wasn't going to keep or bother putting it together after that, very disappointed when I seen that crack. So I called customer service told them about the crack and would get my money back and they would pick up the elliptical trainer for me. I also mentioned that the machine should of been packaged in a packing bag or maybe even bubble wrap, this would prevent any scratches on the plastic or the Styrofoam from getting in the holes of the bars which I had happen. I don't know if she would take my complaint serious or not. But there was some poor packaging when I opened up the box there was some tools that were open and the tools were sitting in a pile, and I noticed some scratches on some parts and when assembling the trainer together a bolt that screws in a bar that joins to a black bar that spins the peddle didn't fit. We tried both sides and concluded it was the bolt screw, as another screw that my boyfriend screwed in wasn't straight so there's issues with the bolts not screwing in properly. The odd things that weren't perfect about the machine but what's perfect out there that you bye these days for your hard earned money. I'm picky myself and I expect perfection or else things bother me especially if I'm paying $202.27 I know that's cheap compared to other elliptical trainers. So anyways I ended up getting my boyfriend to put the elliptical trainer together just so I can try it out and to see if it was worth going through buying another one even though customer service said another one I'd have not the same problem as the one I had I was skeptical still. So I tried out the elliptical trainer my boyfriend left off the heart rate monitor because he had trouble with putting that on so I wasn't going to argue with that. The elliptical trainer is fairly good just make sure you tighten up the handle bars they might be lose at first I'd keep the elliptical trainer but I found that the pedals slanted downward and I had a hard time gripping my foot and it would get discomfortable for a big pad u don't get the use out of it. It should have a foot peddle with a strap something to slide your foot in it. The stride was decent I have short legs and I'm only 5'4 and weight about 130 pounds. I get a fast even stride that tires me out in about 15 minutes that I have to stop and start again but this is mostly due to my feet sliding down. You can also go backwards as well it's more better this way because your feet don't slide downwards and if you want to have a break from going forwards the hole workout. The trainers a solid trainer heavy and solid parts so it's stable. The handles are nice and comforting other wise it's a fairly good machine I'd give it a 4* ...if it weren't for the peddles and having the issues with it! My reviews pretty long but thought I'd stated everything I could, I hope this helps you out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from more than you paid for Before buying this machine I "did my homework". That is I compared what was available around and what other people say. For this one I realised that only negatives came from those unable to assembly it properly. As I thought it would be no problem for me it did look a best buy. Shopping with Walmart was as easy as 1 2 3. Delivery few days after... It took me approximately 1 and 1/2 hour to properly assemble it, and I must admit that knowledge of " how the things work" is needed to do it right. But once done it was fantastic. In just few minutes machine found " muscles in my body, even I did not know I had". Yes there are some sounds but it gives you way more then you paid for. PS To manufacturer: 1. There is no reason that operations in the booklet are marked A,B,C... And in the screws and bolts plate 1,2,3.... Contributes to confusion. 2. Conectons of display panel and rest of the body should be differently coloured (pulse and speed and other display) so that one can easily connect in right way. 3. Resistance control knob assembly shoul be resolwed differently because as it is now requires a lot of knowledge, thinking and skill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I've been using this machine for a couple months now and it's great. Only thing I would change would be the tension. The negative tension should go a little more down. The starting push is pretty hard.
