Can use battery , Bluetooth or plug in wall so portable. Has bass on or off button with separate bass speakers. Both cd and radio becomes so useful, use it almost every night!  
The only thing that could be improved is making the plastic casing thicker and more durable, it feels like it can easily crack if dropped but does have a handle.  Too, I would not call it a boom box because the sound can't get as loud as a true boombox.  Overall quite satisfied.

Great sound with this portable stereo

Purchased mainly to play cd's in my garage. So far it is working quite well. Sound level is good. I like the led display. Radio seems to work well. I think it might be a little better if radio stations could be programed in.

Good value and performance.

its a great deal for the money! the set is modern with the sound and its got good balance! the volume isnt as loud as a big boombox, but its loud enuff 4 a person who dont want 2 hear music blasting! 4 the money its a great value! i would reccomend because its a decent set! and the colors on the lights r blu and very accurate!

its a very good product

It's not a 'bad' radio ... but it's not good either.  The tuner for the radio is very flimsy and poor, the reception isn't the best either.  The picture is misleading, it's a small radio, prolly a football and a half.  The speakers aren't the best either, neither is the bass boost.  Everything does work however, just not well.  Maybe it's just me, but when I spend $50 on a radio I expect to be purchasing something better than average.  Perhaps I'm just getting old.  If I were you I'd recommend checking your local pawn shops first, get a brand name with better parts.  If you're looking for a decent small radio you plan on taking excellent care of this could be for you.  If you're looking for a radio that bumps and you plan on moving it around a lot ... I'd keep shopping.

Expected More

I bought the boombox because i thought it had a nostalgic look to it, and the features were user friendly. However, the sound quality was very poor, and the bass feature hardly made any sound improvemen, it sounded very muffled and pretty much was poor quality. I have another $40 bluetooth speaker with a higher crisper sound, much better than this.

Looks classic, but lacks the true sound.

The sound is below average and after it's plugged in you can't turn off a red light on the front face!!!

Poor quality!!

The tuner on the am-fm radio is nearly impossible to dial in a radio station. And definitely no way to find a favorite station unless you're extremely lucky. The sound quality is mediocre and I expected more by paying more, but my bad luck!!
