What amazing sound packed in this little boombox!  And it works exactly as described, ... plus!!   The plus part is it's shear sound quality.  Pick this one if for no other reason than that, of which in my case I was looking for any type boombox to replace Sony toward bringing my Pavarotti CDs back to life!   This one did exactly that and filled not only my music room, but the entire house with Pavarotti himself!!  :)  This little Sylvania SRCD211 Portable CD Boombox's amazing sound quality and volume not only ~easily~ drags Sony's in the dirt but is even up to challenging Bose.   I say,  buy this one quick before something is changed about it.

This retro CD Boombox is absolutely darling and practical. My old box was on its last leg; so I went to the website to look for another that wasn't to pricey. After a few minutes of searching I found it. The price was right and had all I needed. Some cool features and plays and sounds GREAT!!!

Darling !!!!!

This little boombox is lightweight and perfect to carry to the beach or on a picnic.  The sound is fine but a bit distorted but for the price I wasn't expecting a high end speaker system.  With so many CD players becoming obsolete I thought this was a good time to purchase a player just in case since we have so many music CDs.

A fairly good little player

When this arrived I had to add 6 “C” batteries. The keys are confusing and I had a hard time figuring out how to select the radio station. There's not much logic to it but I felt confounded. But I could even forgive all of that except when I finally turned it on. This sound was very tinny. Although there was a key for increasing the base, it was completely unsatisfactory. When I read “Boombox” I think of volume which this radio didn't have. I listened to it for 2 days then gave up. If you're seeking a little radio perhaps this might serve but for listening to music, it reminded me of those little transistor radios from long ago. It's cut to look at.

Smallsville

No antenna so almost impossible to tune the radio or even receive a signal. Tuning knob was just a small hard-to-find turning wheel on the side. Never even tried the CD player. Couldn't wait to return this.
