[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been researching rowers and tracking prices for months. I decided to wait to see Black Friday prices. The ProForm R10 was on my list, and I really liked the fact it folded. I was concerned about the functionality with out the IFIT membership, which is outrageously high. It provides all the basic information needed to track your workout without the subscription.. You just don't get the coached or scenic programs. The data on the LED screen is much larger and readable than the little trackers on other rowers. It is solidly built, quiet, and as compact as a rower can be when folded. I don't know how long Walmart will have these at $499, but if you can get it at this price, it is a steal.

WOW!! That is what you say after working out on the ProForm Pro R10 rower.  That was AMAZING!!  The ProForm Pro R10 rower has been a great addition to our home!  It is the family favorite.
The Pro R10 is very sturdy and built with quality!!  There is no fear of falling in while rowing.  It is smooth rowing!  When our rower arrived it was very easy to put together, with a little help from my husband we had the rower up and ready to row in less then a half hour.  The instructions are very clear and easy to understand.  It also comes with the option to use BILT and have the instructions read to you and in 3D, no way to mess up with that.  The seat is comfortable.  The handle is great!  It is easy to hold with all hand sizes and comfortable as well.  The foot pads adjust easy, so no stress to switch users.  You can adjust the resistance from 1-24 with a touch of a button.  The speakers are great!  Sound quality is excellent.  The rower is also Bluetooth and aux compatible so you can use your own devices as well.  The R10 comes with a 10 inch color touch screen.  This is so nice.  The screen has great quality, good color and picture.  The touch screen is so nice when choosing workouts or looking at your past workouts.  It is very easy to use with a swipe or touch you can move around with no problem.  The Rower also comes with an iFit membership which adds to the awesomeness of this rower.  The workouts provided are by some of the best.  Learn to row with a Olympic rower medalists!  Row rivers of England, the lakes of Montana or the river in Zimbabwe with the hippos.  It is so fun to be able to row anywhere in the world with top notch coaches.  Your rower adjust automatically to fit the workouts.  This is life changing!! A full body, no impact workout that everyone loves!! Could not get any better!

Wow this is such an amazing workout! This rower is very well made and so sturdy. It is very quiet. I am able to get a great cardio workout in without disturbing my whole family. Machine is easy to assemble and folds up nicely when not in use. While it is quite heavy the wheels make it manageable to move around the room with ease. The touch screen responds well and is quick to open up what you want. Speakers have great sound, but also easy to connect headphones if you choose to do so. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Good rower and good buying experience

We recently got this Proform Smart Rower to add to our home gym. We love this machine! It provides a great cardio workout, as well as targeted muscle training on arms, legs and core. We love the large, high quality screen with videos that make the time fly by as we row in beautiful scenic places. The rowing movement is smooth and consistent. I'm 5'3", and my husband and son are over 6'3" and 250 pounds, yet we each fit comfortably. The adjustable resistance allows each of us to be challenged at our own level, and provides a great workout without causing stress to our joints.  It actually feels like a commercial gym quality machine at a more reasonable price. I think we'll be using this equipment for many years to come.

Positives: fast delivery, easy assembly, comfortable seat, space saving, seems really good quality,  pretty quiet for a rowing machine, large screen and good resistance.  Negatives: the screen can't be turned off and its not responsive at times; I am surprised thay you can't rotate the screen for other exercises; no off button, you just have to unplug it; the seat shold have some kind of stopper to keep it in place when folding and unfodling, it moves and makes noise when it hits the end; the 30-day free membership is just that you are able to use the machine, can't participate in any of the training sessions unless you pay. It comes in a large package, 2 person assembly is recommended, but I was able to do it on my own. Probably better to but the one without the screen and use your own tablet.

Good overall,  but could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the easy foldability and screen features. It was also quite quiet up until recently. However, after just 30 hours of use it has started banging inside the magnetic resistance chamber when pulling back on the rower handle. Also iFit has now changed its membership structure and the basic $15/month membership is quite useless on this machine. You have to spring for the more expensive "Pro" membership at $39/month to use the vast majority of the iFit's library of workouts. I would avoid this model if I had to do it all over again and any other model that requires you to use iFit to make the screen functional for your workouts.
