Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better... could be worse Using in a 28 foot rv, so not as easy to locate and vent as in a room. Exhaust ducting is huge, probably 8-9 inches. It is keeping the place cool and removing the humidity, maybe not as well as the rooftop a/c that went out on me, but I suspect it is location and not the product. I think it would do quite well in a small room with a window to properly install the vent (I had to get creative with that). Just glad the temps have dropped to the 80's/90's since I got it, as I do not think I would be as satisfied, not sure it could do much with 110-120 degrees that it can get to inside the rv on those really hot, really sunny days. I'm sure in home use would have better overall insulation, so would perform better- as long as you don't expect it to BLAST cold air and cool the place down in 20 minutes. Considering the cost of repairing or replacing an rv rooftop unit... I'm good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact and very efficient. Half the size of our previous model with twice the cooling area. Running mode very quiet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk We got this home, unpacked and hooked up and it would not even run. Cheap made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lots of noise but little power This unit is not able to cool a room to 68 degrees and keep it cool a 14'x12' room in 75 degree weather. It seems to only be able to lower a room's temperature by a degree or two at most. It makes quite a bit of noise, but doesn't seem to do much more than a regular fan. The energy usage for this unit is not worth the low performance and noise. I would not buy again or recommend to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and Sleek This is an ok unit. Looks really nice and works well for a small space. The only complaint I have is that my last portable 8,000 BTU unit worked better for a larger space so it wasn't the perfect replacement, but I like it anyway.
