Rubbermaid

Nearly all of our Easy Find Lids have cracked or the tabs have broken off. The containers discolored quickly and now the edges are breaking off at the corners.  These did not hold up as expected and if you try buying the newer sets the red lids are lighter color or you get the aqua color the lids often do not snap on to the older dark red containers which held up better.  Loved these organizers but too many failing early than they should for a Rubbermaid product.

I love my Pyrex dish. It is nice and sturdy.

Service on this order was terrible, but Walmart stepped up and made it right.
I ordered an Arrow H2O 2.5 Gal Slimline Beverage Dispenser, which was missing the lid when it was delivered.
I also ordered 3 3 Packs of Dole 46 Oz Canned Pineapple Juice, and when the box arrived, there were only 4 cans of the 9 ordered.
Walmart refunded the charge for the Pineapple Juice, about $28, and is sending a replacement for the Beverage Dispenser.
I'm still very disappointed, because the order was supposed to be Next Day Delivery, and it took 5 days for me to get it.
I may look at the Amazon food service. Their prices on other products are better than Walmart anyway.

Terrible service, but Customer Support helped.

I have 2 sets of these now and they are the only plactic food storage containers I own. Many of you think that the small containers are not very useful, but I find it exactly the opposite. These small containers are perfect for my kids snacks for school. They hold everything from salad dressing, carrot sticks, dried fruit, etc. I also freeze chicken and burgers in the larger containers. My main purpose for owning these containers is not for packing lunches but for storing food in cabinets, fridge, or freezer. Another great plus is that everything stacks neatly and the lids lock together or store on the bottom of the container.

BUYER BEWARE!!   The Rubbermaid containers now shatter MUCH TOO EASILY from normal use!  I recently bought several sets of 1.5  cup square containers (300 ml) and began to use them this week. I emptied about 3/4 cup of cooled off Campbell's chicken noodle soup leftover yesterday into one of these perfect sized containers and set it on a middle refrigerator shelf for storage and protection.  This shelf temperature was about 40 degrees F (not freezing).  But just minutes ago, I pulled another food item out of that same shelf and it accidentally caught the edge of the Rubbermaid container which plopped straight down to the floor, bottom side first. It landed perfectly upright. Distance traveled was 18". but, when I picked it up, there was a HUGE YELLOW PUDDLE OF CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP ALL OVER THE FLOOR and still dripping through my fingers!!  I went to the kitchen sink (while dripping all across my entire kitchen floor) and raised it up and saw all the the noodles and small square meat chunks were still inside and THE ENTIRE LIQUID CONTENTS HAD COMPLETELY DRAINED OUT IN THE MATTER OF about 5 seconds!!  There is a bout a 1.5 inch wide flap of plastic of that cheap styrene type plastic that had broken in the rough shape of a "U". 
This tells me that the Rubbermaid company has not adequately been TESTING THEIR PRODUCTS FOR TYPICAL EVERYDAY HOME USE!!  I am taking all these containers back to the store today for a refund. Furthermore, I will be contacting the Rubbermaid factory for their answers and explanations. There are just too many companies CHEAPENING and altering the quality of their plastic products. They make the mil thickness twice as thin as they used to AND.....they are using cheaper grades of plastic and manufacturing methods. The bottom of the container says, "MADE IN THE USA".  Really? I expected to see the name "CHINA". So much for American made being better than the junky imports of products. DO NOT BUY THESE NEW, DEFEFCTIVE RUBBERMAID STORAGE CONTAINERS!  Most people encountering these defects do not waste their time to educate others. I read a few other complaints about Rubbermaid on the internet, so I know that I'm not the only person to experience these problems.

Rubbermaid TAKE ALONGS are too thin, brittle, BAD!

I've used the Rubbermaid products for years and I can confirm that they last a long, long time. I was so amazed to find them at such a reasonable price - even while not on sale. The lids of the same size actually press into each other if you want them to and that helps them to stay together instead of having several lids flopping around all over. They hold up under microwave usage without the plastic bubbling or rippling apart and the lid stays on while they are frozen in the freezer (of course I always leave space for the contents to expand upon freezing so the contents don't force the lid to pop open). Also dishwasher safe. I bought extra sets to take camping!!

Good quality at a great price!!

I've just cleaned out my cupboard of all the mis-matched T*****ware and Lock-n-**** - most which are stained, many with no matching lid or broken lids. I needed a storage set which had mostly 'small' containers - I'm single and not cooking for a family of 4. This set meets my needs perfectly; just a few larger containers, the remainder useful sizes for single-serving leftovers to be frozen or taken to work the next day. I particularly like the 'Easy Find Lid' function - the lids stack and snap on to the bottom of the container stack they match. Clever, and works well in the limited kitchen cupboard space in my 1-BR condo.

Great set for singles!

This set of containers are perfect for lunchboxes. The lids seal so tight, I have never had a spill. I once had to put a sticky container of fruit cocktail on its side in my daughter's lunch box, and not a single leak or drip. Although the seal is tight, even my 5 year old can open with no adult assistance. This is probably the best set of containers we have ever purchased, and I plan to buy more and replace all my containers with these. They are affordable, come in a wide variety of sizes and the lids really do snap together and store under the units just like the description states. I highly recommend this product.

Great for school lunchboxes

I LOVE this set. It saves tons of room in my cupboard and always looks neat. The plastic is clear, so you can easily see contents. I love that the lids snap together and to the bottom of the containers. I do recommend buying a 9-cup and 14-cup container to complement this set, as the 7-cup isn't big enough for a batch of cookies, cut up watermelon, etc. This is the best price on these containers I found anywhere on the internet, and only Wal-Mart has the 40-piece set, as far as I can tell.
