Best Mid Budget Gaming Monitor

Solid 2K monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 27" G55A Odyssey Gaming Monitor is an excellent choice for gamers looking for an immersive gaming experience. With a fast 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, this monitor delivers incredibly smooth gameplay even in fast-paced titles.

The 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution and 1000:1 contrast ratio produce vibrant, detailed visuals that really make games come alive. The 1500R curved VA panel also helps to fill your field of view for a more engrossing gaming session. HDR support further enhances clarity and color in compatible games.

Gaming-centric features like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro allow this monitor to dynamically sync with your GPU for tear-free visuals. The monitor also has Black Equalizer technology to brighten dark scenes without over-exposing the rest of the image.

Connectivity is solid with dual HDMI ports and a DisplayPort input. The monitor has a clean, minimalist design with narrow bezels that don't distract you from the action. It can also pivot, swivel and adjust height for ergonomic flexibility.

In my experience, gameplay on the G55A Odyssey was extremely fluid and visually stunning. The high refresh rate and quick response time translates into very smooth animations and lag-free controls. The QHD resolution and HDR provide excellent clarity and vivid colors that make games really pop.

The monitor also handles fast motion very well without noticeable ghosting or smearing effects. It's great for fast-paced shooters, racers and action games.

A Great Monitor for Immersive Gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for gaming and work sometimes. The monitor has a very good price and offers a great inmersive experience thanks to the great curve on the screen.

The best size for a Gaming monitor should always be 27-32. The G5 Oddysey offers a great Resolution for mid and top graphics cards on your computer. 

The only downside I see in this device is that it may be a little bit frustrating to navigate trough the menus but once you configure it, most likely setting won't be changed ever again


Overall I would rate it as a 4.5/5 as it goes perfect with my RTX 4080.

Great Mid-Budget Monitor

Especially the gaming hub where you can stream games via xbox and other services. Love that its an all in one monitor that you can hook up straight with an ethernet cable. Streaming games has been good so far. My ps5 looks great on it!!! Media hub is nice add on. Can go from gaming to streaming show instantly. Can wait to build a pc and really put this monitor to the test.

27" G55A Odyssey Gaming Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sharpness of this 1440p monitor is brilliant. The refresh rate of 165Hz is also phenomenal. The menus on this monitor are easy to use. Shortcuts to certain settings are very convenient as well and don't take up the whole screen when using them during use.

I have 2 of these, and the curve makes adding more displays super easy.

Monitor review

Ever since I bought the monitor and turned it on and started playing on it. There has been this white and black color showing on the whole entire screen and it interrupts me when I'm playing. This is honestly getting really annoying and I have been dealing with this problem for over a year. I've had enough of the flickering black and white color on my screen!! 

Can someone tell me what the problem is?

The graphic side to it is good but the product has absolutely no durability. Bought two and within the first year the screen is coming off from the top and now the second one is doing the same. Would not recommend buying any of there curved monitor
