<p>The SentrySafe Combination Fire-Safe Model MS0100 is UL-classified for up to 1-hour fire protection, as well as ETL-verified for 1-hour fire protection of CDs, DVDs, memory sticks &amp; USB drives up to 1700 degrees F. It also carries an ETL-verified 15-foot drop test (drop it 15 feet and it will not open). It includes a 3-number combination lock, and for extra protection is designed with four live-locking bolts. The inside of the safe has a removeable shelf, key rack, a compartment for small items such as standard paper, A-4 size papers, folders &amp; binders.</p>

Wish i would have bought this Yrs. ago...... But from this day on --- Me & ONLY ME have access to MY stuff.. Whether it be my pills, (( good idea for parents with teenagers )) , credit cards,, cigs ( another good one for paernts with teenagers ).. change, bills $$$$$$ , important documents etc.etc... Plenty of room to store YOUR stuff... 3 digit combination works well... Every home should invest to get one.... price was very good.. $100.00 I HAD a problem with family members taking WHAT WAS MINE.... Received my safe a couple of days early than expected. Finally got it home and considering the size, I really wasn't expecting it to be that large. However, though it is just what I needed and always wanted to own one of my own. I am waiting for my brother to stationaire it for me and at the moment using it as is and more than enough for what I want to use it for. I checked around different sites before settling on WalMarts as they offered it at a great offer. So now, I feel comfortable in knowing I have something I can store my valuables in. As stated "LOVE IT". I would indeed recommend to others who are looking for something not big, not too small but just right. This safe is it.... Thanks WalMart

LOVE IT.....

I researched safes for three weeks. Wal Mart was only one of many sources researched. The 2 safes that were in my final search were offered in the very best sizes and prices of all sources only at Wal Mart. The Sentry safe, dial lock, arrived from Wal Mart a week early and the shipping for the 86 pound sturdy safe was FREE. Enough Said.

Great Safe

Got my MS0100 little over a week ago. Working as expected. Combination lock works fine. Bolted down to the floor yesterday which was pretty easy. Unit did not include bolt down kit, so I took a trip to local OSH, spent $2.50 on a couple of bolts, washer set. Took about 2 hours for whole job which included locating appropriate place to mount the unit, drilling holes of the vault and the floor, trip to OSH, and mounting it down. I wish locking mechanism and handle was made of metal rather than plastic. But it looks OK and works fine, so no complains. Overall I am happy.

Excellent product for the money

I had to return this product. My fault, but I did not realize just how much this safe weighed. It weighs around 80 pounds and I just couldn't handle it. I am a senior with average strength and it is just too heavy for me to lift or move around. It is a very good value for the price if you can handle the weight.

Very good value, BUT

I live in Washington State, this shipped free from New York and beat Amazon price by $30. Different safes have different insurance coverage for contents. More coverage, more $.

can't beat the price

I bought mine years ago and a couple years back someone attempted to get into it.All they managed to do was break the the lever to open it.I had it anchored to the concrete foundation with half inch wedge anchors so getting in is very hard especially that I had it in my closet.I moved and hadn't used it in some time and wanted to fix it so I contacted Sentry and they sent me a new handle for free.I felt that was good of them to do that seeing as I was expecting to pay at least twenty bucks for it.Well,my safe is back in duty and protecting my important papers and personal items.Sentry makes great safes at good prices and I like mine very much.

I like this safe, is what I was looking for. I wanted a safe that could only be opened with a combination. It looks and feels tough. The only drawbacks are that the handle is made of plastic and the combination wheel grinds a little instead of moving smoothly. For the price it's a good deal.

The SentrySafe Fire Safe Combination Lock looks great I have it on the floor in my closet. Once I got it I read the instructions and there's nothing to it it's just like having any combination lock you go right once you go left twice and then right once again and that's that easy It doesn't come with a key but that's what I want it I was afraid of losing the key by having someone take it It's pretty heavy but if you mounted will be safer because it can get taken easy you can either mounted upright with the combination lock facing you or down flat it comes with all the items to do so the only thing I didn't like was that everything inside is plastic even an item attached to the door but for the price you can't beat it it's safe enough for what I wanted for it's supposed to be fire safe god forbid that ever happens.. :)

The safe is very poor as far as security, the hinges are on the outside open on right of safe...

This safe can be opened by pulling the top pin out then the bottom pin out, then the safe door is no

longer attached & very easy to open, my 10 year old son opened it with a screw driver in 1. minute

Do not waste your money on this safe, the top and bottom pins slide out very very easy.........

Safe is heavy and good, but very poor security
