Ratings & Reviews+

Sky Rover Stalker Helicopter - Green is rated 3.1429 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to fly precise flying heli. The hardest part was freeing it from its packaging. Don't attempt to open the box until you have a pair of scissors and a small Philips screw driver. You will also need to buy and install 6 AA batteries in the controller. You can charge the heli off the controller but why waste your batteries when you can charge off your laptop with the provided usb cable. Make sure you plug the cable into the heli the correct way because its easy to bend the pins on the connector. The heli is fully charged when the light goes off on the usb cord. turn the heli on and place it on the floor. Wait 5 seconds for the heli to calibrate itself, then turn on the controller. Throttle the heli up to about 5 feet and use the trim tab on the top right side of the controller to correct any left or right spin. The light on the heli can be turned on or off with a push of the button on transmitter. The heli is surprisingly crash resistant. You wont be disappointed. The only thing that would be better is if the throttle wasn't spring loaded.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in less than 24 hours My son got this for his birthday, and loved it so much that the kids put their money together to buy another one for his brother. They had a blast for one day. The next day, both of them were broken. My kids were pretty careful and gentle with them, but this toy is for indoor use only, and it is pretty impossible to avoid hitting the ceiling from time to time, which is bound to break something. The box came with a couple of spare parts, but those were not the ones that broke. The kids were both very disappointed. Don't waste your money on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from $13 Worth of Entertainment My wife gave me one of these the other day -- just because. I've -never- flown an RC or IR heli before. After reading enough of the instructions to get the battery charging, I took the first few flights and found the heli works just fine. Now, after maybe 10 flights, I can maneuver it round the living room and even outside pretty well. Had a few crashes, but nothing broken yet. Takes almost 40 minutes to charge -- whether from the remote or from the included USB charge cable. Gets about 7 minutes' flight time. Almost 8 if you just want it to hover. Would I buy it again? Look, it's simple: for $13, I've actually had more entertainment value out of this thing in ten flights than I have in a single $25 movie ticket. Is it junk? Depends entirely on your own view of the world, I suppose.
