from Best Value For The Money We Found Anywhere I've assembled a lot of do-it-yourself furniture over the years, and this is the best engineered I've seen. Everything fits together nicely and each piece was perfect. The first two reviews mentioned that there were a lot of pieces and that it took too long to assemble. I won't disagree with that, because it did take me a couple hours to assemble. But the directions are more than adequate and everything goes together nicely. It just takes a little patience and a room free of toddlers. :-) The drawers included nails to secure the bottom to the back side, rather than just relying on the bottom to remain in the slot on its own. It's obvious that whomever designed this, thought it out very well. It was shipped in boxes that were reinforced with extra cardboard on all four corners and then wrapped in heavy plastic. Also, you can't beat the price. I suppose you could spend a few hundred dollars more and get solid wood and wood drawer bottoms, and not spend two hours assembling it yourself. But for the money, this is excellent. We bought the dresser, chest, and night stand and were pleased with all three. It remains to be seen how well it will hold up to the occasional abuse of children, but so far, so good.

from not worth money especially for kids We ordered 2 shipped site to store, picked it up without difficulty. Once we got home we found multiple chips in both of the tops and sides. Also they have plastic drawer slides so with 2 toddlers we don't think they would last a week. Perhaps if you were able to get a set without chips for an adult room it might be ok but we took them both right back to the store.

from Ideal for starter kids furniture. Very sturdy and heavy but do seem like they could tip forward so I will likely use the wall anchors. They will work nicely for what my intended use is.

from I was not very pleased with the quality. I was very disapointed in the quality. Has a cardboard backing. Looks like it will fall apart in a year. Also took 3.5 hours to put together. I have ordered other furniture from Walmart and have pleased, but not with this dresser. My advise to anyone interested is stay clear of this product.

from Not as bad as I had expected. After my wife ordered this item at walmart.com I went in and read the reviews on it. They were not good. Lots of complaints about the time and effort it took to put together. I read reviews that said it took from 4 - 10 hours. Also the drawers were supposed to be horrible to put together. I was NOT looking forward to putting this thing together. There was a comment that the instructions had little to be desired. Which was true. It really was nothing put picutres. But that said, it really wasn't that bad. I finished the project in 2.5 hours. And amazingly at no time did I feel frustrated or angry. Everything went together well. Insturctions were easy to understand. And in the end I was happy regarding the assembly. We have only had the dresser for a week so I cannot comment on its functionality or durability. Another issue discussed in other posts were the drawer bottoms. I was expecting the same type of cardboard that comes as the backing for products like these. But the drawer bottoms were more like a thin MDF board. It still doesn't have the sturdiness of a wood board bottom, but it should do fine. I still question whether my wife could have gotten more for the $180 (w. taxes) that we spent. But I am satisfied with this product so far and was happy that the assembly was not as bad as many posters had led me to believe.

from Way too many pieces to assemble but once finished looks great. My big disappointment was the color; it is not a true white. Color is an off-white/antique white. Wish it would match my baby's white crib.
