I've only been using this machine for 2 weeks and  I am very pleased with the  smoothness and quietness of it.  It is well built and the different levels of tension provide me with a thorough workout with low impact on my body overall.  Much better than treadmill and swimming which I have been doing over the past couple of years and lets me stay at home where a 79 year old should be when exercising.  Highly recommend it for it's quality and price.

Easy to put together,I installed by myself with my two legs with arthritis, I love the rower its the best excerciser overall for my body ,put on music timer 30 minutes,I have to take it easy ,till my tkr surgery,itll be a big help for me ,and price excellent

Privacy of my home

The machine is easy to assemble.  They include all the tools and hardware.  The machine is easy to use, the modes are easy to read and reset, the tension is easy to control.  This is a great at home workout machine.

Easy to Use

I'm a tall guy at 6'3" 210 lbs and was afraid there wouldn't be enough room to extend my legs fully, but there's PLENTY-and then some! 
This is a super quiet machine that delivers a solid cardio workout in the comfort of your own home. I went in strong and decided to start my rowing at a level 8 resistance (the highest it goes) and it SEEMED easy at first, but within 5 minutes I was working up a sweat and could really feel my heart rate accelerating nicely. This thing engages your legs, abs, arms, chest, and back all in one simple motion! I'm a hige fan after only 3 days of having it assembled and can't wait to start seeing results. **Only took about 45 mins to build this sucker on my own.

Fantastic

Like many adding home exercise equipment while avoiding the gym. Im 64 years old and my purpose was to add to an exercise bike to get me to 30 minutes or more aerobic exercise between them. I am able to get into my aerobic zone with this machine and it is a better whole body exercise than just the cycle. Many reviewers talked about parts breaking but after 2 months 2 or 3 times a week we are still going. For those of you coming from a Concept 2 this is not the same experience. If I treated this like I did rowers when I was 30 yrs old I would likely break the foot bed or snap the handle off the nylon strap. For those that mentioned the nylon strap breaking or sliding off the handle I am guessing that the stitching came apart so inspecting the equipment every few uses is important.  Rowers that could compete with the Concept are more than 2to 3 times the price of this rower, weigh more and cant be stored  as easily. I purchased from Walmart for the competitive price and extended warranty from a more reputable insurance company.

For the price and my needs very good value

I am a 54 yof and put this together without any problems whatsoever.  Solid equipment and can't beat the price either.

Amazing, quite, and get a great workout from it!

Quiet, easy assembly, and smooth glide. Has enough tension adjustments that our entire family can get a work out. Great piece of gym equipment for the price. We love it!

Get Ready to Row!!

Took almost 2 hours to put together.  Somewhat of a challenge,  but had some help from my husband with the heavy parts.  I'm a 62 years old, 165 lbs, 5'8" and the hardest part for me was being on the floor to put it together.  Hopefully this rowing machine will get some weight off and tone me up.  I've been going to the pool everyday and riding my bike, but the pool is too cold now and my bike just doesn't give me an all around work out.  I've used the rowing machine 3 x now only on level 2 for about 10 minutes each. I can definitely feel the burn and hope to work up to a higher level.  I think it's good cardio too.  Good price at 224.00. Free shipping with Walmart.

Sturdy machine.

It's good for beginners but don't know about Max resistance effect over years pass by. I love it so far. Assembly guide is not good enough - I depend on YouTube videos. Display /settings needs more quality.A bit noisy while seat slide during exercise. 👍

When it came time for me to purchase my home rower, I talked to a lot of people who used one and watched a lot of YouTube videos. Then I started searching and comparing over fifty different machines of all kinds. When I finally chose this one, I called my son up who had bought one 3 months age. He had done the same research and purchased the same machine. I have had mine about three weeks and use it once a day. I made a chart to help me keep up with my progress documenting my time, calories and the number of strokes per session. I use it on resistance 4.  It has 8 to choose from. 
Every day I was able to increase my workout and am very satisfied with this machine. You won't find a better machine with this quality for the money. It's a keeper!

Lot-a-research

It's absolutely useless on linoleum flooring. The front stabilizer and rear support have no rubbering under them so the whole thing would slide on the floor as you row back and forth. It also came with no AAA batteries for the "computer" that is more like a calculator. I was forced to buy the silver color for $230. I wanted the black one but at the time I bought this it was priced at $490!? Double the price for the exact same model. Now the black one is down to $260! The heck!
