Ratings & Reviews+

Tassimo Single Cup Home Brewing System - T65 is rated 4.619 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome machine I won a Keurig coffee machine that broke down becuase it wouldn't descale properly. Tried everything. The Tasimo machine blows away the Keurig which is now in the trash. Other reviews have said, noisy, coffee not has hot .... wrong wrong. This machine makes a much tastier cup of coffee, the temperature is perfect and I find there is a much larger choice of better priced coffee and other selections. Very happy with the decision to dump the Keurig today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one yet... My favorite Tassimo brewer to date! I like the LED display. easy to use, just an all around good coffee brewer! Would highly recommend this brewer. The first generation Tassimo's not so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Tim: Tassimo or Keurig? Hi to you, I want to share my recent experiment comparing Tassimo and Keurig for my love of Tim Hortons's coffee. I had both machine working through, at the same time, Tim Hortons coffee, I always wonders which of the taste would be better and would avoid me to go and get a coffee at the coffee shop (it can become expensive). The winner is: TASSIMO. Let me explain why: 1- TASSIMO: PROS: 14 T-cups of Tim Hortons for 8.99 (no taxes on it). Bought the T65 for 88$ on the 3 days Black Friday. The TASTE of the coffee = like going to TIM directly! For those of you who like special coffees, that is the machine. LED light to enjoy brewing a coffee in the dark. CONS: The coffee is not as hot as Keurig. The machine is less esthetic than Keurig. The machine is noisier than Keurig. You cannot use a coffee that you like and out in like the K-cup (free coffee that you had in a filter). Also, remember, special coffees are good however can be expensive as you will need 2 t-disc (approx 2$ per special coffee). 2- KEURIG (special edition): used Tim Hortons fine grounded regular coffee for comparison (2 table spoon in K-cup) PROS: The machine is more esthetic. The machine is more silent. Less expensive for long term use as you can purchase the K-cups but also use a free coffee (a big jar of Tim is 7$ plus taxes = how many days of use - a lot!). Warmer coffee has it seems to boil water in between pooring. CONS: Tim Hortons coffee is disgusting on my taste buds as if I would have used a Black & decker coffee maker. No real special coffees (a lot of choice on coffees, but, for me, usual plain coffees!). Imagine you move = this machine keeps a part of the water inside (there is no way to remove it! You can just try to clean with new water in pushing through new water). 3- SIMILARITIES: Same time to pour your coffee. I am veru impressed of this feedback from myself because when I heard people talked I was to purchase Keurig. However, just days before, I have seen the add from Tassimo and Tim (my favorite coffee). Then I did not know what to do. Now, comparison made, for Tim coffees, Tassimo is better for the coffee taste but noisier and less hot (also better if you like special coffee). For me, if it not warm enough, I put it in the micro-wave (but I know not everyone like to do that). Keurig has less of the Tim Horton real coffee shop taste, but is more esthetic, coffee warmer, less expensive to run. In conclusion, if it is for TASTE of Tim, get a Tassimo. If you would like to taste regular coffee (all sorts - without special coffee), get a Keurig. Hope this help!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine but... The machine itself is easy to use. I can get about 6-8 cups of drink (coffee/tea/hot chocolate) before refilling the water reservoir but this depends on how strong you want your drink. The only option is to add more water, not less. The LED light above the spout is a plus because you can see your drink being poured but it is more of a novelty than necessity. I'd found this machine to be a little bit noisy compared to a Keurig but it is more compact and space-friendly. The other drawback is the temperature of the drink. The tassimo does not dispense hot enough drinks compared to the Keurig. I use the Tassimo every other day and enjoy making my drinks. Even my kids want to help. One side note: wait for sales to buy your favourite drinks. Sometimes it can save you between $2-3 per pack if you can time the sale right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than I could have ever imagined! I resisted buying one of these "pod" single-serve coffee makers for years because I didn't believe the quality was anything but below average. My opinion of pod coffee makers was also tainted by my brief experience with them over a year ago while working downtown. My former workplace had a Van Houtte pod machine and it produced nothing but foul drinks. In the interest of saving money, my wife and I decided to buy a Tassimo. We were not at all disappointed! I scoured the web reading reviews of the various coffee makers and found Keurig and Tassimo to be equal. The biggest difference with Tassimo is the convenience of buying the pods. The grocery store near my house (No Frills) and Wal-Mart both carry the pods and they are very affordable. I can't speak for the taste of Keurig, but Tassimo impressed us! We tried 3 different types of pods: regular coffee, latte, and hot chocolate. The coffee and hot chocolate were amazing! I could never find decent coffee for my coffee maker, or maybe my old coffee maker was just not good, but the Tassimo made a perfect cup of coffee every time! The latte was also impressive. I spent years drinking Starbucks and Second Cup flavored latte's so I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed! The machine was very easy to setup and the instructions were simple and straightforward. The machine also takes up very little counter space and is very quiet. I read a few reviews that said the opposite so I'm not sure what these people meant. Perhaps they expected the machine to make no noise at all? Bottom line is the noise level is low and you wouldn't even have to raise your voice if you were having a conversation right next to the machine while it is operating. Operating the machine and re-filling the water reservoir is a breeze. The LCD display is incredibly helpful and the LED that lights up your cup as the machine is brewing is great!! All in all, I highly recommend this product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I chose Tassimo because it brews espresso, cappucino, caf crema, long espresso.caramel macchiato .... compared to Keurig, which don't have these type of beverages.( we have it at work) Fun to use. a bit noisy
