Ratings & Reviews+

Urbini Omni Plus Travel System - Black is rated 2.0833 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from GARBAGE! Save your money!!! Just would like to inform anyone who is thinking about purchasing a stroller not to buy from Urbini Omni ... Their strollers are cheaply made- car seat straps are given too short, stroller squeals and clicks, basket rips easily ( with use under 10lbs) and the handle bar rips easily. Once you contact Urbini they don't do anything for you even once you give them the product number. They give you the option of replacing th stroller for $119.00 U.S.D ... My child isn't even a year old and I take good care of my stuff and this stroller is completely garbage already and in rough shape. Just thought I'd save a parent from wasting their money like I did. I've purchased other strollers for my first born and they've lasted over 3+ years with every day use. My daughter just turned 11 months and i already have to purchase a new one If I could rate this 0 stars out of 5 That's what I would rate it. Unfortunately it gets a 1 star

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for us Its not a high end stroller. You get what you pay for i guess. We've been using it for 4 months now and I love it so far. The base is smaller them most travel systems, or high end strollers similar to this. I love that, Its much easier to maneuver around. However i'm not sure if its going last for our second baby in a year or two.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible-don`t buy The car seat straps are not made long enough. The car seat was too small when my son was 5 months. The stroller is shaky and the wheels always jam in the front.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BABY OUTGROWN AT 17LBS, 26" Aside from all the other horrible aspects of this system, which I will list momentarily, the seat straps are too short for baby to reach full height in this seat. When I called the company about it, they told me to measure, which I did, and they said that they did have an issue where the straps were cut too short but now they are 54" and offered to send me new ones, except mine were 53", so not much help in doing so. They offered a refund in U.S. dollars, which the bank will convert to CAN, offered once we have destroyed it. I had to buy a new infant car seat for my baby because the straps did not have adequate slack to get her in and out. The new carseat I bought was a Peg Perego Viaggio 4-35 for more than the cost of the entire Urbini travel system. The Peg is a huge, heavy carrier but, in comparison, I feel it is so much better designed. The Urbini does not have the side impact cushioning that the Peg has nor support for the head once the infant insert can no longer be used (once baby moves up past the 2nd strap height). It also lacks an anti-rebound bar, which I've since learned is very important for additional safety in a crash. I chose the Urbini Omni travel system with the Petal carseat because of it being so lightweight, affordable, and I thought the basinet/seat arrangement was a clever design. I knew it didn't have all terrain tires or suspension but intended to keep in the car for shopping and doctors appointments since I have a jogging stroller I use for walks and just assumed the price point largely reflected that. Nope. Rather, it reflects a lot of poor thought and design. Right out the box the carrier is not in alignment to snap onto the stroller frame without squeezing it together. I called the company. They sent a new frame. No difference. At the time, they refused to replace it. Straps seemed too short as she grew but I realized they were misthreaded from factory but even rethreading them didn't give enough length for her to reach capacity weight and height in this seat. I even took the infant insert out early for a better fit (which, btw, because is all one piece isn't a good fit at second height adjustment anyway) but still, my baby has outgrown this seat, which is SUPPOSED to be rated for up to 32" and 22lbs, at only 26" and 17lbs. As for the stroller, AWFUL MANEUVERABILITY. The company replaced front wheels which were pulling to left. No difference. All the savings on my back and neck by having a light stroller to lift has been made up for by poor cornering and overcompensating for drag - even on flat smooth floors. SO disappointed in this purchase. SO disappointed that I struggled for so many months needlessly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good design - Bad implementation I chose this stroller because it was the only one in the market which could easily convert from regular stroller seat into a bassinet suitable for young infants or whenever the older baby sleeps - in other brands you would have to buy a bassinet and a stroller seat as two separate parts and then you would not be able to switch as you please on the go, not to mention the waste of storage space, so this was the major benefit of this stroller. Another thing which we liked and found very useful and convenient is the ability to use the car seat on the top of the stroller frame without the actual stroller seat - if you are traveling by car, you can just take the car seat and the frame to save space in your trunk. The frame folds easily, but I wish it would be flatter/smaller when folded. It can not stand on its own when folded - something calling for improvement. You can easily switch form rear to forward facing which is not common in other strollers. However after 7 months of using it, I have to tell you that it has a major issue with the front wheels, they get stuck out of a blue on various surfaces (for instance it once got blocked while getting off a bus and I needed other people's assistance to be able to get off and fix it), the problem repeats so frequently that in the end I keep the front wheels locked up at all times - which makes maneuvering much harder but prevents the wheels from getting jammed. As the baby weight is increasing it is becoming harder and harder to ride it so we have came to the point that we are now searching for another stroller. If only they could do something about the wheels I definitely would have kept it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this stroller, using for almost two years Im seeing lots of bad reviews here, but for me this is my best stroller. Yes the wheels wont ride as smooth on trails, not asphalt roads and yes i did hate the car seat because straps are too short. BUT, I am using this stroller from birth almost 2 years now non stop. I tell you it is very compact yet it is durable, ive been in many parks and trails and i got never torn bassinet or basket or whatever. Everything is still in great condition. I love that it transforms into bassinet, its super easy to fold unfold, recline, convert i do all that on the go. Yet it has a good space for baby it is not bulky as other joggers and fancier stroller with massive wheels that takes up the whole freaking doorway or elevator. It is cute looking and compact. I do own another "fancy" stroller (gift) but i keep it just in case and in two years I have never used it. My stroller is green color and i had to wash it only once when my son had vomited, the fabric washes very easily just with cloth and detergent. I absolutely love it and i wish urbini had exact same stroller but double so i could buy same compact durable stylish looking and affordable price, otherwise i dont want to say goodbye to this stroller as i absolutely love it!!!
