Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations... I usually spend way to much at the salon on waxing and decided that it was time to try doing it at home. My boyfriend kindly offered to help wax my legs and we purchased a box of the Parissa Warm Wax which comes with strips and wood stick applicator. Let's just say it was not an easy task ..there was wax everywhere because it stings from the stick and he was constantly having to reheat the wax in the microwave. I even attempted to apply the wax to my legs myself and found it really difficult to get a smooth line of wax. As you can imagine I was planning on heading back to the salon after this mess. We saw the Veet Easy Wax Roll-on System at Walmart and both agreed it looked like a gimmick. The concept made sense though so we decided to give this our last attempt at saving money and waxing at home. The kit was about $29.00 and came with wax strips and a full cartridge or wax. I always purchase an extra roll of wax strips from Walmart (the ones in the bag that you cut yourself are about $2.50). Pros: Simple smooth and even application of wax requiring little pressure - anyone can do this right including my boyfriend ;) Leaves skin smooth and removes hair very well (I am naturally olive skin tone with dark hair). MESS FREE- no sticky residue all over everything. Packs up nicely within itself (kind of like a antiperspirant stick style lid and applicator) for travel and storage. Cons: I would suggest getting an extension cord so that you can keep it plugged in while waxing It says only 20 minutes or so on the package for heating but it takes 45 to get it the right temperature. The starter kit only comes with the one cartridge for body and legs. So if you are planning on doing underarms or bikini purchase the smaller applicator right away because the body applicator is too wide for waxing those areas properly. Overall, love this product. Cost $30 dollars which is way less than even two waxing treatments at the salon and I can do this myself at home whenever need be. My boyfriend and I were both surprised because we thought it was going to be a disaster or not work but as the review title mentions are expectations were exceeded. A friend of mine just purchased this kit yesterday and I showed her how to wax her legs with it- she loves it too. Her kit had a bonus for facial hair removal which we haven't tried yet but both the underarm and bikini cartridge and the body and leg cartridge wax works wonderfully. I fully recommend this product to anyone and I normally don't write reviews but I felt that other people might think the pink and white roll on might look kind of cheap and miss out on a great product. Hope this helps! Vanessa.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product Like everyone who is trying to save money, I bought this product trying to cut down my visits to the spa for waxing. I thought it was a great innovation. The set up is easy enough, insert the refil, plug in the applicator and wait 20-40mins max. Everything was great untill I took it off the charger 40 mins later, thinking that if it was too hot I could just let it cool down. But the wax struggled to come out. So I waited some more. When the wax finally did come out. It was uneven and only for about 3-4 mins. Then it would stop flowing as smoothly. The only way I got it to flow longer than that was to just keep it plugged in while using it. Which was horribly hard to do because the cord is so short. Lastly, the wax itself is disgustingly hard to get off you. It won't come off with water just the (4) oil based wipes they supply you with, which are small and way to oily on you hands where most of it ends up instead the wax on which ever body part you have decided to wax. Not worth your money. Im glad it was on sale, and that I didn't pay full price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from mehh This product is definitely not worth the money! The wax isn't hot enough and it's just a really sticky process. Might as well get the strips or get it done professionally.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! This product actually doesn't wax! I would have had more luck with tweezers. The hair I actually tried to wax was long (about a cm) and fine. With repeated attempts (and the instructions followed correctly) it failed miserably to remove a small light patch of hair. A Waste of £20
