Two Simple Easter Crafts for Kids

Easter long weekend means extra time with family and fun creative activities. Decorate balloons and plastic Easter eggs using craft foam with your child to make the most out of the occasion.

DIY Easter Egg Chicks

• Plastic Easter eggs
• Scissors
• Sticky-back foam sheets
• Black permanent marker
• Letter-size sheet of paper
• Candies (optional)
• Chocolates (optional)
  1. Fill the plastic eggs with candies.
  2. Draw and cut out two wings, a beak and feet for each egg from the craft foam. Feel free to be as creative as you want. If you need some guidance, a simple search online would help.
  3. Remove the backing from the foam and attach the pieces to the sides, front and bottom of the eggs.
  4. Use the marker to draw eyes above the beak.
  5. Ready to eat the candies? Gently peel off the stickers and reattach when you’re done.

DIY Easter Egg Balloons

Cut out shapes from the foam, such as triangles and circles.
Remove the backing from the foam and attach as desired to the inflated balloon.
