Rit Dyemore Liquid Dye for Synthetic Fibers

Use Rit DyeMore Dye on 100% polyester, polyester / cotton blends, acrylic, acetate, nylon and even some plastics. One bottle will dye one pound of dry polyester fabric. If dyeing acetate, acrylic or nylon, one bottle will dye two pounds of dry fabric. For 100 years, customers have relied on Rit to rejuvenate old garments, change the color of their clothing and accessories, coordinate home decor, hide laundry accidents and more. Create something custom and unique with an ombre, dip-dyed, shibori or tie-dye pattern. Important: due to the complexity of dyeing synthetic fabrics, you must use this dye in a stainless steel pot on your stove top to maintain a high water temperature throughout the duration of dyeing. Cannot be used in a washing machine.

Rit All Purpose Powder Dye

For 100 years, customers have relied on Rit to rejuvenate old garments, change the colour of their clothing and accessories, coordinate home decor, hide laundry accidents and more, Plus, mix dyes to create more than 500 additional colours. Create something custom and unique with an ombre, dip-dyed, shibori or tie-dye pattern. Rit Dye will work on cotton, linen, silk, wool, ramie, rayon, nylon, wood, wicker, paper, feathers, cork, some plastic and fabric blends that do not contain more than 35% polyester. Does not dye 100% polyester, acetate or acrylic, fiberglass, spandex and metallic fibers as well a items with rubber backings (bath mats or throw rugs). Instead, use Rit DyeMore for Synthetic Fibers. Use Rit with a washing machine, plastic bucket, stainless steel sink or pot.

Rit Color Stay Liquid Dye Fixative, 236 ml (8 oz)

Rit Color Stay Dye Fixative doubles the amount of colour retention in fabrics such as cotton, linen, rayon, ramie, jute and hemp, which have been dyed with Rit Dye. For best results, use immediately after dyeing, before rinsing and laundering. Rit Color Stay Dye Fixative can be used when dyeing in the washing machine, sink or stovetop. It can also be sprayed directly onto fabric for many craft and DIY applications. Commercially dyed items can also be treated with Dye Fixative before laundering for the first time. Previously hand-dyed items can also be treated with Dye Fixative before laundering; however, the results may not be as apparent or long-lasting as when Dye Fixative is used immediately after dyeing.

Rit Color Remover Powder, 56.7g (2 oz)

Rit Color Remover is used primarily to remove or reduce color from fabric prior to dyeing with Rit Dye. It reduces the colour to an off-white or cream colour, creating a clean, even base colour for dyeing. Color Remover is suitable for use on most washable fabrics, including cotton, linen, rayon, silk, and nylon. It may have a limited effect on polyester, depending upon how it was dyed commercially. Color Remover is a non-chlorine, reductive type of bleach that will not damage or deteriorate washable fabrics as chlorine bleach will. The stovetop method is the most effective at removing colour, maintaining a constant simmer throughout the process. Some fabrics lose their colour in as fast as 10 minutes, others can take an hour or two to achieve a cream colour. Light colour changes, such as brightening or removing stains from white fabrics, can be achieved using Color Remover in a washing machine. Color Remover will not remove the pattern or print from a fabric or the indigo dye from denim.
