Walmart Canada Green Business Summit Accelerate Change. The Business Case for Sustainability. Walmart Canada is hosting a summit on sustainability, highlighting the very real business case for going green. Collaborating across industry sectors, the Summit will accelerate the implementation of profitable, environmentally sustainable business practices.

Our umbrella theme For the Greener Good is our strategic framework for the products, initiatives and partnerships associated with our goal of becoming a more sustainable company. Every day we are working to improve and we strive to reach our core goals, which include: to be supplied 100% by renewable energy; to create zero waste; and to sell products that sustain our resources and environment. Here are some of our key accomplishments in 2008:
